- Two men who fled the country whilst on trial for killing a man after racing on the A34 have been arrested after landing at Manchester Airport.
Cheshire Police have released footage showing Osama Saeed, and Asgar Taj being detained at the arrival gate after stepping off a flight from Abu Dhabi earlier this morning (Monday, July 8).
The pair left the UK in October last year whilst their trial at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court, where they were accused of causing the death of 34-year-old Asad Rashid by dangerous driving, was part-way through.

the only surprising thing is that Manchester police stopped them from leaving the country and avoiding prosecution, there are literally 1000s of examples where the police have been told the suspect is a flight risk and they don't oppose bail and let them go back to Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Africa etc, they say it is cost-effective to let them leave, the DSS and housing benefit stops and they never pay fines anyway and it saves court costs, what a way to run a police forces,

Saw a little white Manchester kid last night getting some sweets in my local store with his dad, his dad was in his late 20’s, and the boy was wearing one of those face hoods, just like the one in this video. It made me double glance because it just looked wrong. I can’t help wondering what his dad was thinking as he walked around with his ten year old lad who was dressed like a street criminal. It is damaging on so many levels but the dad either didn’t understand that or somehow thought it was teaching him to act tough. I saw a little black kid and two little white kids the night before wearing the same things, they were hurling bricks at a guys car who had stopped to tell them off for cycling in the middle of the road. But this child last night was actually with his dad.
@@redcropuk I am 63 and at work the younger guys wear their hoods up in the factory where I work, one guy even had a "tube" around his neck and face.
Another in his 30's has a hooded sweatshirt and a jacket in summer, while I wear a T-shirt.
Even on the streets if you see a group of guys and girls, the guys have their hoods up and the girls are bareheaded.

This happens so often that surely the legal system should and must detain foreign persons during serious court trials, we hear so often when they are given bail they skip off to their country of origin trying and hopefully avoid the full force of the law, so in these and certain cases detention is advisable, lesson must be learned.
