It's clear that you are extremely passionate about what you do. I was just thinking the other day that your videos tend to be very fast paced and high level. For my needs, this video was much better. My recommendation is to make more detailed how to videos on each task necessary to convert a Jon boat to a bass boat. Maybe even have an entire series dedicated to a step by step how to. This would help folks like me find the courage to do it... It's hard to start when you have never completed something so challenging!
Awesome video. I really enjoyed this style of video. I’m currently working on a Carolina Skiff J14. I’m trying to build it into an awesome bass/flats boat that is still “family friendly.” Just trying to get all my ideas together so it’s a solid build. Your vids and the Facebook group has given me a lot of ideas. So thank you for everything you do for the community.
I loved this content! Always amazed how you are able to engineer each version to better suit the need and keep everything sturdy & or light. I'm just starting a 12ft jon boat and using your videos as a guide with the aluminum angle and knowing the boat has limits due to its size and width.
Could you make a short video on precisely just dry hatches and how to bend and connect the angled to the totes/ storage boxes. About to start on my boat and that’s the only thing I don’t really understand. Thanks
Hi, first off I watch a lot of your videos and they are awesome!!! Second, I’m looking for rod grommets, I checked your store to kinda help/ give back because of how much they have helped. Basically I’m looking for the rod grommets you used and the size hole saw you used as well. Thanks!
I have been saving for a Pelican bass Raider for a while now. Almost there. Then I ran across your Channel. Now I'm thinking Jon Boat. I believe I have the skills to take on this sort of project. Although a bit hesitant little overwhelming. I have sense become a subscriber and have been binge watching your backlog of videos. Especially like this one. Question are these boats stable my brother and I are in our fifties and both have had knee surgeries. All my friends say jon boats are easy to flip.
I got a 10 pack of struts off your amazon store but failed to notice it was the 20 lb variety. Have yet to install but have a feeling it may be a little too much for the size lid I working with. May need to look into these marine grade if I’m getting the lighter ones. Thanks
This is something I have been curious about on how to measure up the strut. There is a huge difference in those struts. For the smaller boxes are the cam lever latches over kill?
Mike, how do you determine the length of struts and the pound of them? I have a bass tracker with aluminum hatches none are wider than 12” and longer than 24” just need to know what sizes. How do you determine that? Hate to buy more than I need or deal with buying not enough of the right length.
Thank you for taking the time to do this. Attention spans of the population!!!!

I sold my kayak and bought a bought over christmas, its not tiny(I've got 4 kids), but your videos have informed a ton of my restore process. Thanks!

What would I look up on patreon to find out how to make dry hatches. Or what video would they be under.
You read my mind Mike.
Nice job

Do you have any ideas on how to stabilize a boat better I’m having a hard time on the stability on mine
do you have any in depth videos on installing the shock (side ways) on your rod locker? thanks
I'm not cheap. It's best to do-it-yourself but if you really want one you can dm me on Instagram
@@TinyBoatNation no I meant “showing how you installed the one diagonally
