His final speech in parliament seeking confidence is legendary. He was a man who was always thinking about the downtrodden, the depressed and the poorest of the poor. He conducted raids in Kirloskar and arrested its owner. He as finance minister introduced corporate tax and taxed the rich. He conducted raids in reliance industries. He as defence minister unearthed the Bofors corruption. He was clean. He was honest. He was kind. He was down to earth. When he was offered a second chance to be prime minister, he refused the offer. He conducted raids in Amitabh Bachchan. He was fearless. He undertook fast into death in Mumbai protesting the demolition of the babri masjid and was moked by his political opponents who undertook food festival in front of him. He refrained from taking even water. He continued honestly for five days after which his kidneys got malfunctioned. He died of kidney malfunction in 2008. He was one of the most important leaders of independent India.

Chandrashekhar seized the opportunity and defected from janta dal to congress. 64 MPs supported him and he under the support of RAJIV GANDHI formed the government in 1991.
Hence genocide happened in Congress regime.
Also, the governor Jagmohan was appointed by the BJP. when he tried supporting pandits he received death threats by terrorists. Slogans of jagmohan bhagmohan and jag bhag mohan were raised against him. He was even threatened to be chopped to pieces by terror outfits and also didn't receive any support from then VP Singh Congress coalition, hence wasn't able to do anything.

1.Mahatma Gandhi- yes our Bapu itself as he was well deceived and fooled by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Jinnah built a Republic nation from a democratic nation taking full resources and after 70 years it can be clearly seen India is being caught on diplomatic tensions with both China and Pakistan. Everybody knows respect Gandhi got in Pakistan post his death.
2. Morarji Desai- It is quite shocking that Emergency against the Congress rule installed a former congressman only as Prime Minister of Nation. The story of Morarji Desai was like create a hole in that plate only in which you eat. Janta party govt failed miserably as it was a govt of cattles going in different direction.Morarji Desai gave country a concept of immature opposition in democracy though Democracy requires a strong opposition.
3. V P Singh- The third one was this great idiot V P Singh. Again a congressman and following the same principle putting a hole in the plate in which you eat. He implemented Mandal commission but just like Jinnah OBCs leaders used him and created their own political empire. Best example is Bihar and Nation itself.Post 1990 Bihar saw the meteoric rise of Lalu Prasad yadav and Nitish Kumar and both have ruled for 30 years.After 27 years Country saw an OBC prime Minister in form of Modi who also ruled Gujarat.That is the harsh reality Reservation which V P Singh gave became a tool for empowerment and never used for upliftment.

Morarji govt was no that bad performing too and mandal was a devi lal thing not morarji due to high no of obc leaders in janta party combine which had high lohiatite moorings....remb Lohia had said " pichra payeii 100 mai 60" he was the man responsibile for the mandal grouse.

Drubbing was needed for Congress but again just see the level of opposition better say weak point of democracy as India took almost more than 50 years when NDA govt ruled for five years. Janta party was highly immature as opposition and differences arose soon after it's formation. Choudhary Charan Singh and Morarji Desai had major differences and too woo Backward community instituted a commission which was put in cold by Indira Gandhi. Emergency had no intensity in South and Even today major opposition BJP is weak in South India. Indira Gandhi was right about Jayprakash Narayan he was a hero but leading a divided opposition and post his death that opposition disintegrated.
Dear friend hope you will understand even today you can see despite Modi wave BJP has faltered in some states very badly after completing five years so Democracy requires constructive opposition not destructive.

As far as south is concerned DMK chokked congress post and pre 1977 from emergency times itself.....tamil nadu was lost irrepraibly and Karnataka had got janta party as well....hegde bommai and all....kerala was always a revolving chair btw congress and communists to this day....partyly because of its demographics and Christian and Muslim voters no right wing party can easily flourish....yes only south voted for her but was it not also because emergency and it's excesses were pretty limited in South and they were not much affected....had south not voted as it did in 1977 indira would not have had become even an m.p in 77. And her political caterer would have had come to an end. Indira and her socialists goals kept india and indian poor and dependent for too long ....and without reason her economic policies ruined india.
