About Royal Blood
Brighton duo Royal Blood comprising drummer Ben Thatcher and bassist/vocalist Mike Kerr formed at the beginning of 2013. They quickly made their presence known, with pounding drums and heavily distorted bass guitar defining characteristics of their ferocious blues-rock sound. The band gained many plaudits early in their career, touring with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Iggy Pop and Foo Fighters, before going on to win Best British Group at the Brits in 2015 receiving their trophy from their musical hero and admirer Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.
Their catalogue boasts the Mercury Prize nominated self-titled debut album released in 2014 that spawned hits such as "Out of the Black, "Little Monster:, "Come On Over" and "Figure it Out", as well as their second successive UK number one album "How Did We Get So Dark?" released in 2017 which featured "Lights Out" and "I Only Lie When I Love You".

It's not the Royal Blood that we're all used to hearing but damn, that touched my soul. It's really nice for them to try out different styles
I remember back in late 2013 when I was like 16 I got lucky and came across Out of the Black on MTV before it had a proper video not realising I just discovered Royal Blood super early just to go on Spotify at see that was their only song apart from come on over as a b side. 7 years on and 23 yo I've followed them from the very start to this point and I can't be more proud of them watch them evolve and release banger after banger. Although I've never met them it feels like I know them because I've gone through so much through the past 7 years and thir music has helped me and made me happy. Cheers lads!
I learned about them near the beginning when I was 8 or 9 I can’t remember. But they have been the only band I have listened to consistently and all of their music is still great. I can really relate to this and the amount of stuff their music has gotten me through.

Been listening since the beginning as well. In 2014ish (I think that’s around when the first album came out) I was about 8ish. Pretty much just listened to that album and AM by the Arctic Monkeys for, like, a year.

What an amazing song! They decided to do a song completely different then anything they've released and it just shows how great and how special of a band Royal Blood is.
This is Royal Blood’s best album so far. It’s none stop hard, almost disco dance rock, and then it caps it all off with this. Definitely one of my favourite albums of all time.
I think that Royal Blood found their comfort zone with this album.

Much of this album taken me completely by surprise (in a good way), especially this one. I was surprised to hear them perform a song without a guitar or drums. This one is so raw and hauntingly beautiful. It’s dreamy and romantic and I can see it in a scene where a couple is slow dancing as the world around them is ending. But it also makes me want to lie down and lose myself in the music, as if I’m floating away. 💗 Thank you boys for providing us with such a lovely song!

Royal Blood, if you are reading this you are truly an authentic and a special band. There has not be a real act in music since Oasis in my opinion and you have revived what music is truly meant to be. I was blessed to see you in Reading 2015 when I was 16 and it was the best act of live music I have ever seen. Thank you.

Holy cow I read that he almost didn't include this one. It feels like hearing an original Freddy Mercury for the first time with an Elton John Balad backing it. So nice and subtle. Musician beyond his years. Hope he goes down as one of the greats (that isn't just reserved for dad rock)
