The Japanese care for their trees is incredible, it's a shame that in my country everything is resolved with chainsaws, even if it's trees in parks. May God bless this land called Japan, its people are indeed something very valuable.
What a fascinating insight into how the branches are supported to protect from the snow. Massive respect to the gentleman who has to climb to top of the pole to throw the ropes down. Apart from the hard hat, not a sign of any other safety equipment. The art of Ninjitsu lives on through gardening.
The attention to detail is so good! Even the way the knots are finished looks like art work when completed. Truly a thing of beauty. Thank you for sharing.
If someone doubts/questions why Japan has the best horticulturalists, gardens and gardeners in the world... show them this. This is next-level amazing.
Oh my stars! I have always wondered how this was done! Thank you for sharing. I just knew a lot of work, planning and tradition must have went into this. So happy to see this video. Thank you! 🙏🏼
I found myself saying wow! Every few seconds. Oh my goodness! I have wondered how they do this so I am so happy you showed us how they get this done. It's all about teamwork for sure. Wow! Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing the tender loving care that goes into protecting these old trees. God bless my friend
Thank you! I've never seen this work in progress before either, so that was very interesting! I'll keep introducing more techniques in the coming days😊.
The patience and care put into this is incredible. I wish we cared so much for nature and culture here. This trees are beautiful. I hope to see them in person some day. Thank you for making these videos to help the world understand a better way of thinking. ❤
I've never seen a life sized bonsai garden, it's beauty makes my heart happy. I did not know trees could be supported in such a way. The support structure adds to the beauty. Thank you very very much for sharing.
Thank you for showing us more interesting details about Japanese Gardens! I have always wondered how the heck they do this; I've seen it in many gardens but never seen the actual installation process. The guy at the top of the pole is incredible! This must have been a great location to shoot a video, Kenrokuen is such a beautiful garden! So is it enjoyable for you to be there, or is it just work?🤔
What an interesting process. With trees this old, it would be a shame to lose branches due to the weight of snowfall. Do you know the age of that first tree in the video?
Wish we in "the United states" ;) could learn to respect and take care of that which is older. Instead of just giving into that which is easier. We seem to want to put the elderly into nursing homes instead of bringing them into our home and taking care of them because it is the right thing to do. The same as plants. When they get hard to manage or "too" damaged, we just cut them down. Thankyou for sharing.

As is the case with most parks in Japan, we need to cherish gardens like Kenrokuen that are well managed like this😊.

He was wearing a lifeline, though. 😅
But you're right, ninjutsu could be alive!
His feet must ache at the end of the day.

It really is!
It's stunningly sleek and beautiful!
Maybe the combined skills of these master gardeners is art.

Thank you 😊.
I think so too!
However, in Japan, this skill and culture is not valued very much, I think...
Love seeing this process. The care and respect for these amazing trees is so inspiring!
Thank you so much!!😊
Woww.. make bonsai tree at beautiful garden... 👍👍👍👍
🙌✨
Astonishing! A good reason to visit instead of the crowded cherry blossom time.
That's right! Even in winter, Kenrokuen is beautiful!
I was there the other day, and Kenrokuen with the autumn leaves was fantastic!

Exquisite living work of art. That tree is so elegant and so breathtakingly beautiful.
That's exactly what it is.
I wish we could properly manage and preserve such a magnificent pine tree. 😊.
Why Japan continues to be one of our family’s favourite destination. The parks and autumn landscapes are like my imagined picture coming to life.

Yes, it is!
I didn't know how to do all this snow hanging stuff either, so I learned a lot!
I'm not sure if it's work or play, either 😅.
@@JapaneseGardenTV I would be in heaven! Spending the day in one of Japan's most beautiful gardens to watch skilled gardeners working = heaven!😆
I miss this so much. I had some internship at Kenroku en. It's such a nice place.
That's great!
Kenrokuen is truly one of the most amazing gardens in Japan. 😊
Great video clip, as usual !!!

It's my pleasure to see so many of you out there watching this amazing technique!
Very interesting! Thank you!
Thank you so much!!😊✨
Enjoying the show
Que bello trabajooooo! 😍🤗
¡Muchas gracias!😊
Muito bom. Obrigado. Very Nice.
Fascinating! How do you secure the base of the supporting post without causing damage to the root zone? Thanks!
You might be able to tell from the tied up cut at the end of the video. 😊

What an interesting process. With trees this old, it would be a shame to lose branches due to the weight of snowfall. Do you know the age of that first tree in the video?
The oldest pine tree is over 200 years old😊.
The majority of those pines are Pinus densiflora right? Thanks for the video.
That's right!
This tree is a Pinus densiflora!
There are many black pines planted in Kenrokuen too!
Could someone tell me what kind of jackets (black ones) they are wearing. Thanks.
Good!!
😊
Very nice video and work.. May I ask, what is the tallest section poll with the ropes?
Thank you!
Sorry, I don't know what kind of tree that pillar is from either💦.
What is the soundtrack on this beautiful video. I enjoy all your videos.
Personally, I like this music I used in my video. 😊.

They look like giant Christmas trees. I’m assuming that the trees are hundreds or even thousands of years old?
Thinking the same thing. Do they line the ropes with string lights during Xmas season?
It sure looks like a Japanese style Christmas tree!
The tree is probably a few hundred years old😊.
👍👍👍✌️😎🇺🇸
🙌🙌
Here in Germany they would could the trees down cause they got too heavy 🤐
So do most places in Japan! 😂

My man is standing, without harness, on a 10 meter pole, but it's ok because he's wearing a hard hat
