even after all this time. this helped me a lot with the old man hei. just keeping in mind the points on how to input the OTGF and you should be good. this is a good lesson in doing the OTGF. allowed me to consistently do it every time i need it in a match, basically whipping it out at any moment and at any side may it be 1p or 2p. building muscle memory for both sides helps with the consistency as well
I noticed that if you do "d/f + 1" all at the same time on keyboard, most of the times it shows on command history as "d/f, d/f+1, d/f". On keyboard, then, i tried doing 1 just a split-second before d/f. If i manage to do this "1, d/f" on the same frame, it finally comes out as OTGF on command history.
i5alodi 15 not really I play on pad and the thumb size doesn’t matter you just have to find that certain spot to hit but I agree with you pad is more harder
Umer my bro I have to disagree I’ve Been playing pad for a very long time and it is inconsistent you have to find the right spot whereas stick you have your whole hand to do the movement to hit the df input
I've played both for many years, I play on Hitbox now, and out of the 3 pad was definitely the easiest. I could do them in a few minutes on pad, on stick they are super inconsistent especially on p1 side, and on hitbox they are much easier than stick but not as easy as pad. No one explains it better than Main Man, he said "on stick your hand is in love with the down input". Just my experience though.
any tips for the input where you skip neutral? in my command history my input is exactly ➡️⬇️↘️1 but im getting otgf like 1/10 times and regular thunder god fist the rest but with the same exact input
@@perfectgodfist with command history it shows the df and 1 are on the same frame, do i have to do the f d df like extremely fast to get it to work or does that not matter
Every fighting game should do combos like mortal Kombat. This is so ridiculous to ask for a controller user. And I shouldn't have to buy extra accessories. So frustrating and unrealistic. But luckily there's 300 other moves to use so🤷🙃
This statement was made out of frustration and I retract it 😅 I figured it out after becoming too frustrated and trying out spinning demon. it really helped bring things into perspective 👍🏻 I'd say if they can master that then they can master the rest
@@perfectgodfist hello so i've been practicing otgf and pewgfs right? After straight practice my whole arm has been hurting and i had to take medicine, do you think i should keep practicing and playing tekken for now?
I did it three times all of them by accident 😂😂💔 but thanks to your explanation i can do it more consistently. Thank you very much ❤️🙏

The hardest part is not the movement for me but pressing 1 quick enough
Landed my first OTGF in a few mins, thanks man!

Holy shit man thank you so muchh i landed 4 of this lol just gotta work on the timing. This explained better than the tutorial of themainman
@TheMainManSWE
Lol
I can only more than one in a row if I'm looking at my fingers! Well, we all start somewhere...
i made a tutorial a while back perfect godfist is correct its super easy very similar to kazuyas electric
Nice, patient explanation. Great execution, Subbed
I did my first OTGF in Tekken 6 by accident. It was intended to be an EWGF, but I clicked 1 instead of 2.
I disagree on pad it's very inconsistent and depends on your thumb size
i5alodi 15 not really I play on pad and the thumb size doesn’t matter you just have to find that certain spot to hit but I agree with you pad is more harder
Tbh i never played on pad but i find it easy on pad, maybe its just me,u might be right
This was very helpful, lemme drop a sub 👍, im using stick with octagon gate and i only get it 1 out of 10 times the timing is hard to get used to 😧
Thanks man ❤
I still can't master it to this day even tho I'm trying to do the same command input
its just foward slight delay then df delayed kazuya pewgf imo
Umer my bro I have to disagree I’ve Been playing pad for a very long time and it is inconsistent you have to find the right spot whereas stick you have your whole hand to do the movement to hit the df input
It was just my opinion, you might be sayin right bro,i find it easy
lmao it's easier in pad than stick. why don't you try stick then?

I keep getting down before DF on pad and i can't just get df

Just input df and 2 at the same time

Oh shit it looks quite easy, thanks
No worries bro
It's not easy
Never comes out even tho my input is the exact same help
Won't work after double f
DORYA!!!
Do we have to wait for heihachi to go neutral after f then press df and 1 at the exact time please reply
U need to input f then df1 ... make sure u press df and 1 same time
How do you hold the pad?
I play on arcade stick,HORI RAP 4
I just grab pad like usual people play with thumbs only
I just learned how to do OTGF and ive been practicing it for 3 days and i can pretty much do it anytime but my finger's hurt, is this normal?
What controller are you using
@@perfectgodfist dualshock 4
Then u finger shouldn't hurt .. but keep practicing u will get used to it
@@perfectgodfist okey
