If it has quadra drive 2, when you put it in 4lo and use the autostick to lock it in 1st gear, it automatically locks up all differentials and you have a constant 50/50 split between the rear and front. Its a very useful feature especially in snow
Grand Cherokee will be great in the snow without a doubt. It doesn't have front and rear lockers. At best , with the trailhawk , it has an E LSD that behaves almost like a rear locker plus BLD. Without a doubt , yes , it can conquer things that would require front and rear locker in many but not all cases. The regular Cherokee trailhawk with the selectable rear locker is actually probably a better Jeep for snow. It's VERY close between the two. In order , this is my guess for the snow . 1. 4 door wrangler Rubicon/ gladiator Rubicon / Chevy zr2 1. Tied ? Land Rover Defender 90 2. Cherokee Trailhawk (non grand) and Bronco sport with the rear locker. Bronco Sport and Cherokee Trailhawk would be extremely close in snow performance but the Cherokee Trailhawk would beat it on trails becuase of the low range. 2. Tied ? Gladiator Mojave 3. Willy's wrangler with the rear locker (still has less traction technology than the Cherokee Trailhawk) 4. Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 5. Renegade Trailhawk /compass Trailhawk (because it's light , as long as you upgrade the tires from stock ) . Toyotas with rear locker are somewhere in the middle of the pack. Subarus, right behind the renegade /compass Rav 4s are awful compared to Subarus and jeeps TBH. Lexus Rx 350 is also awful. Sorry, I don't know why they're so terrible for the amount of money but they are.
Realmente bloquea el diferencial, durante un breve momento, puede bloquear el delantero, trasero y el centro. Dentro de los diferenciales poseen un actuador.
