Bro I have ADHD and been watching cad tutorials unsuccessfully for like 15 years and I loved this video. (I like to skip ahead so often it's not the tutorials fault). But you've explained everything perfectly. I love that when I looked over (2 monitors) at the right click you labeled what it did as a deselect tool thats SUPER HELPFUL I LOVE IT. Even the little clicks and stuff nothing was missed, tempo was good. I'm subscribed.

Fantastic. I've been trying to create this type of shape to a pad for 3 weeks . Trying to join 2 circles together with an arc. Your select Polyline followed by M,M,M is a cad changer. Great work. Can't wait to try my other ideas......................

Excellent tutorial. Just one thing that might help Mac users. at 1:42 he says to "click" to create and complete the circle. I found that clicking did not work to start and complete the circle, but shift-clicking did. So this is minor but I thought I'd mention it in case anybody gets stuck with their particular system and/or mouse.

Been drawing with FreeCAD for a few months ……never saw the poly to arc trick. Very very good starter video. Great voice, pace, content so as not to over whelm the new user. I would like to see a better mouse symbol on screen …not easy to follow the current one. And on all fairness you may already

I guess I know why people consider you a bit too fast... It was because of the first video of the series, it was hard for anyone cutting the teeth on FreeCAD (me included) to understand.
But now, after some training in the tool, it's nice to watch some fast shot tutorials.
Anyway thanks to you my company is using only FreeCAD as 3D CAD, because I never actually modelled in 3D and was wonderful to start by a freedom oriented tool!
    Thanks a lot!!!

I've now done 3 of your tutorials. I'm trying to overdesign a simple wood working item. Could you do a video on building say two independent parts and joining them together? For example, a US 2x4 cut to 800cm joined perpendicularly to another 2x4 cut to say 400cm? I'd like to see how all my parts need to be independently cut, then plan how they go together.

    • @benpracht2655

@@JayAnAm Also helpful is knowing the key plus mouse click combination you do. The curve was hard to figure out, but in the video you just looked at it and it did what you wanted. 😊. Thanks again, I know this is time you could have spent doing something else.
