Main problem with Lord Hizen's builds is that this man is amazingly good at playing the game. He can achieve many feats that most people can't even if they only copy his builds, because it's a matter of experience and skill.
Really any build with Celestial can work as long as you are able to find a balance between survivability and damage.
However with the current powecreep, and that there is a good balance in the game, I think everything is viable as long as you really learn how to manage your character.
I've always said it, mastering your gameplay is more important than anything else. This is true for all content in the game. One of the best players I know personally, can solo content without problems with his elenentalist. So in the end it's all about personal skill.

I would not take the words „main problem“ in my mouth here
Open world builds are essentially selfish
They create their own boons, can survive on their own and of course they do less dps than dedicated builds
In group fights they of course will always perform less than dedicated builds
Nonetheless they are much more useable than pure pve builds in solo open world content
Thats what they are here fore and thats how they should be played
You cannot take a healer as a dps and will prevail
Or an dps as a healer
And the point from the video stands…lots of people play the game but we are quite spread out. The game got really big now
And everyone who does collections in older maps knows how hard it is to wait for an eternity that the events spawn and you DEFINITELY do not want to fail because its a harder group event…
Therefore open world builds have their definite place in game and everyone should have it
Just use dedicated builds for endgame group content too and everyone is happy 😊

@@Cross_111 I dont really understand why u told me that. I just said that Hizen is an awesome player, which is true, and people may lower his own expectations with his builds. Learning how to play is better than copypasting an expecting easy times.
Beyond that, I'm with your arguments.

What about Build from Vallun? He made "one to rulle them all" serię. The idea is to use one Build with eq set and make Little change to figure into special content

guildjen has builds that are more forgiving for those that don't take time to really slow down hizens videos and take them apart. You may find those more to your liking. As far as open world classes i run with hizens Reaper / scourge and Vindicator/ herald builds. I like that he tries to synergize the armor between specs to get the most out of your character. i like cele gear but if i want to make open world harder i flip to trailblazers or even viper.

Celestial Mirage is the only one of Hizen's build I tried more or less exactly, and compared to my half homebrew half from another RUclipsr celestial Virtuoso, it's pretty great. More survivable (although the big part of it is the clones distracting the enemy, not quite so great under direct pressure), about 20-25% more dps without even weapon swapping and shattering, and huge amounts of effortless CC.
Otherwise I have a celestial build of some description on all my characters, but not directly copied from Hizen.

I recently came back to the game. I'm running ascended zerker for my fractals, but for open world I just deck out characters with exotic cele armor and weapons. Trinkets just slap more or less whatevers in my inventory/bank. As long as im not full glass cannon in open world, everythings smooth sailing.

Im using my own build for open world. Meta battle as reference. I am doing fine with fighting champion monster with my own build.
Tips for new players: do not exactly copy the builds you see in youtube or any other source. Do your own build and I promise you’ll be happier with the result.
I feel that Lord Hizen / Snowcrow’s build is cater to hardcore players. I tried many times to copy their builds but end up miserable, especially fighting champions mob.

Snowcrows and Hizen's builds have different purposes, Hizen's builds have insane sustain so you can solo the open world content and Snowcrows maximize for damage because their builds are to be used in raids/strikes. Different things for different purposes. In my opinion every character/class should have 2 builds at all times that you switch between. 1 for raids/strikes/fractals depending on your role and 1 for open world which gives up dps in favour of sustain. A lot of newbie players go to snowcrows and use their builds for open world because they don't know they're not meant for that, thus making their lives in the game misserable.
