- Sometimes its worth it to venture out to the rivers, creeks, and streams after flooding to see how placer gold might be carried and dropped into pay streaks.
Get ready for gratuitous dredging scenes on our first dredging trip of the season. Constant heavy rains and flooding have hit much of the midwest all spring. So what better time to get out there in between the storms and find some gold. We show you what to look for when the water levels are high to find where gold is most likely to be concentrated.
We also got to try out the Spike Strike Tubby Concentrater for our cleanup of cons.

After dredging with my keene 6 in.and little 4 inch. When u have plug ups. I found that if i shake my hose up an down .it freed up blockage with out busting my hose with the plastic hsmmers

Im a new sub. Cant believe the Land of the Free have such petty regs. In Ausrailia when the folks set out it was 1$,and go where you like.Now if you keep of Leased Land no one inforces anything much. Nearly all Metal Detected stuff where its 40+ . Cops dont get out their Cars its so hot, not that you see any.

Those are sand bags or a silt boom. Some construction sand bags hold 2 cyd 's and Army Corp emergency ones are bigger yet.

This is in the midwest and we of course do not always hit a bunch of gold in a weekend trip. But we like to be honest and show our viewers what we actually got rather than fake it for a bigger effect. Stay tuned for our Alaska videos if you want to see a big haul though!
