    We have 217 and 207 at work I need to know how to calibrate these machines insead of waiting for one guy to do it. Sometimes there are thicker side wall mixed with thinner side wallm Then some times the machine doesnt penetrate a quarter or small section inside the tube.

    Sir can u explain me how to create schedule in 207A which is not available in LIB like half inch tube to tube welding

      In your weld library I'm sure that there one program that never gets used. Go into that program and over write it. I have filled my library and can no longer write new ones so I over write and save, if I can't remember I just print the library to check.

    Can you make a video on how to program an ami 207? I have a weld test for a job I really need

      We will look into creating a 207 video in the future. In the meanwhile, you should check out this video ruclips.net/video/gdsU7HozIaU/видео.html . You can always reach out to us with any specific questions.

    If there's a tutorial on how to adjust multi level schedules, someone please point me to it.
    Lvl 2 isn't penetrating enough, & Lvl 3 gets too hot, but as I adjust downslope, amps, and/or speed to try and even the weld bands out it never seems to line up right. I either get not full pen or I end up over heating the weld and it sags in. I'm just guess and check at this point and burning through material. Surely there's a logical way to do this that I'd know if I had experience.

      Make sure you’re calibrating your machine. That can be a big problem.

    What is the difference between AM I217 and AMI 227?

    • @morganindustrialtechnology1840
      @morganindustrialtechnology1840  Год назад +1

      The 227 has the capability to run wire feed and has arc voltage control. It's more designed for heavier wall pipe applications

    Is there any information on classes or programs i can attain to learn this machine ... I've been a combo pipe welder for 7 years and was approached about a job using this machine, I had to turn it down (awesome pay) because I lacked the knowledge

    It's a real shame that they sold out to ESAB, now there's no service at all. I have had all sorts of machines (Dimemetrics, +GF+, Fronius and ESAB) and the AMI 207A has been the best by far.

      Hi Russell, we are actually an authorized (and the largest) AMI Service Center. Our team works on 207 and 207A's all the time! Give us a call and we can help out with any service related issues!
