I am FULLY on team epilogue. I will be very disappointed if they do the prequel route when all the questions about Aionios history can easily be answered through hero/dlc questlines.
Honestly, i'd rather have them anwsered on XC4, otherwise, It would look like they cut shit from the main game to sell as DLC, so If you want to truly understand the story you will need to buy It, and people will complain
Honestly there aren’t that many questions about the history. We know how major characters came to be where they are, how the world came to be the way it is, etc. It’s possible they could show the first annihilations and how the original casts reacted, but an epilogue is definitely possible too
@@DavidHosey1 I think that we should get a prequel focused on Z and the founders Maybe even an epilogue where we play as SPOILER ALERT: N and M crew that we saw in flashbacks and see N going more and more hopeless in his own feets, untill we finally get a chance to be convinced by Z Or at least a DLC where shows more about Z and the Moebius honestly
@@renren47618 That's a very barbaric way to think as games nowadays is one of the cheapest form of entertainment.. With that said the game alone is cohesive and ended in a very good note any addition that ties up the story wether paid or not is welcome but of course Game contents doesn't grow on trees so for the devs to charge it, seems fair enough and for 30$ that pretty good imho...
The more I think about it, the more I could totally see an epilogue featuring 2 stories: one from each world. The x1 team is like Noah, Melia, and Shulk while x2 is Mio, Nia, and Rex. Both worlds towards the goal of merging them properly.
I would kill to see Noah and shulk adventuring together, same with Mio and Rex, god I just really hope they take the epilogue route and finally wrap up this trilogy
Torna was DLC themed in the past, Future Connected was themed in the Future, and I believe the final DLC for 3 is gonna be themed in the Present that will be the closure of the "Klaus Trilogy"
Hopefully it tackles both the past and future. Main story about the future and Hero quests can tackle the past. Pretty much a 60$ game in a 30$ season pass😂
It (I hope) will probably do both truthfully. Since the world was reset by origin we could go back and see the world pre-Z and then adventure to gain a bridge between the two worlds and re-unite Noah and Mio.
One thing that made me really sad during this game was seeing all the fossils that were named after monsters that weren't in the game like Ponios indicating that they became extinct
I do, however, get a little schadenfreude from collecting Gyanna fossils. Those things were so annoying in Torna, the only other Xeno game I’ve played.
Xc3 did not conclude the klaus saga. Klaus wasn’t even in the game or referenced at all. His story ended in 2. The whole game was a metaphor for moving on from the past and the fears we have that prevent us from doing so. So many questions left unanswered: what happened to the fog king? Why did both worlds unfuse and rewind time again? If the origin could do that to begin with, why did it? Where is Shulk?
Did every side quest, complete the game, defeated every unique monster, and completed the collectapedia, this game was a wild ride Starting new game plus tomorrow
@@DavidHosey1 Honestly, it peaked gameplay and main characters but has the most underwhelming villains and ending(not because they are bad, but because they don't reach the same standards as the other games, and either way, they are nice villains for JRPG standards, they only are "bad" for XC) Being peak fiction or not, depends more of your experience However i can say that: XC1: Best story XC2: Best Villains and field tjemes XC3: Best Gameplay, Best Battle Soundtrack and some nice ambiental ones too, best main cast, best "open" world, best side quests and best graphics
Honestly, based on how long Flash Eaters and Blade Eaters live, I really wouldn't be surprised if Zeke/Pandoria came in as a 2 in 1 character like with Riku and Manana. That would be absolutely crazy.
depends... I get Nia living essentially forever (basically immortal), because she's a "healer" type, so, that's maybe why/how... but then you have "eaters" like Minoth... essentially a failed experiment (tho' "Zeke-Doria" were made later, so the process might've been improved/"perfected" - the Agnus people all seem to be "eaters", Sena did say: "we all have these" to Lanz... "chest doo-dads" as he calls the core crystals... I wonder where Taion's CC is, huh)
@@ArinJager1 There was a successful Blade Eater in Mikhail, who loved a long time with no problem. Although he was alone unlike Zeke, who has his blade with him. Personally I think all Eater type characters are doomed with the exception of Nia, who's power probably prevents her from dying or just allows her to live a really long time before she dies. Minoth is near his deathbed and is only a "failed" Flesh Eater because he doesn't have crazy powers like Jin, who also is near the end of his rope and dies due to expending all his power. Of course we don't see Patroka or Akhos suffering from Old age like Jin or Minoth because I think they were born way later than Jin if I remember right. TLDR: All Eater types are screwed even if they are "successful" like Jin. The only guarantee is a longer mortal lifespan. Nia is an exception due to her powers, but given we only ever see three Blade Eaters (Mikhail, Amalthus who somewhat doesn’t fit as he is an Aegis Driver but still implanted Haze's core, and Zeke) it wouldn't be too unlikely they get a longer lifespan that does end.
@@triplek-dysongamingwithdan7771 yep, that is exactly what I was thinking when I wrote my original comment. Just couldn't find the proper words for a good responce.
This is where i don't want a prologue DLC... Torna made me appreciate Mythra a lot more as a character, and it put Jins struggles into perspective too, so it kinda made sense with the relative happy ending in that game... I don't feel like 3 has anything worthwhile to explore in the past, but i DO wanna explore not only this "new" future with young Noah, and possibly even go on a quest to reconnect the two worlds again. The ending narrations and final goodbys with an emphasis on "until we meet again", along with the fute playing for young Noah at the end, kinda tells me that we might get to actually play as both old 1 and 2 cast, along with the new 3 characters, to somehow make it possible to travel between the two worlds safely, while also regaining the 6 partymembers memories of eachother through some sort of treasure hunt in the two worlds. I can be satisfied with the ending, as the whole point was that the world went to hell because someone wanted time to stand still, and sometimes, you have to let something or someone go in order to move forward. But that doesn't mean i don't want a happy ending for characters i have now spent 170+ hours with, across 2 and a half playthroughs already...
Definitely. If they want to call this the end of the Klaus/Experiment-saga, then they need to definitively combine the 2 worlds, not leave it on an open cliffhanger like this Like, the story of 3 was great, but for the greater plot of the saga, 3 was definitely lacking.
I don't know what to think about the end. I want to see every of my ship were cannon (Mio and Noah inclued) but does that make me a Mobius for not moove foward.
I was seriously expecting Xenoblade 3 to cover the concept of what happens after death, but instead it teases it even more. The concept of seeing people after death is teased in Xenoblade 1, 2, 3, and even X. And honestly, I think that concept makes a lot of sense for an X2
Let's GOOOOOOO, can't wait for Xenoblade 3 content. I love watching people's reactions but I'm dying for community speculation on what next. I'm waiting on so many people
I feel ya, just keep in mind it's still *super* early on the game's life cycle right now. It'll probably be near the end of the month when we'll start seeing major analysis of the story, lore and content, just so everyone who already bought the game within the first month or so has time to finish the game
I think the ending needs to be sad crowd and the epilogue dlc crowd can definitely both have their cake and eat it too. The memories of their time on Aionios are lost but that doesn't mean there can't be a new beginning
I don't think we're getting a Founders prequel for the DLC. For one thing, doing the same thing as Torna for 3 just seems lazy, and for another, that stuff seems more defined than all the stuff with Addam and Old Torna did in base 2. That, and the swords being the image for the expansion pass. Clear sign to me that we'll be seeing our favorite researcher and salvager duo again.
There's nothing to discuss with the Founders tbh.. The most relevant info is discussed in Main Quest and especially in side quests (Tbh this side quests should've been a Main Quest)
@@mrbubbles6468 First Torna was a cut content from the base game 2nd it's the Origin story which polished alot of backstory from characters, Specially Jin with Lora and Mythra with Adam which clears how was the Aegis war started and why even Pyra was made and why she's in the ship in the beginning.. Those are vital information and since alot of their drives (Pun unintended) in doing things are all vague in the base game.... Meanwhile the founders are just pure references from the previous games and the current issue in the city with the conservatives are just people that has different way of dealing with the Mobeius. If you finished all of the City's Quest and Hero's Ascension then alot of stuff will be cleared from the get go specially with Noa's flashback.. It will be a waste of DLC imho if they will focus on the past when the main theme of the game is moving and taking a step towards the future...
I think the merge is still going to happen, melia obviously knew when it would happen and when the merge occurs there was some sort of festival happening at what is probably keves' capital, colony 9/alcamoth, that isn't a coincidence and clearly that festival is still happening in the post credit scene. But the merge won't be manipulated by Z this time so it will be a lot more peaceful.
the festival is just "Queen's anniversary" as they call it, in-game... so, I dunno what that means, or if that holds any weight or not (it could, who knows)... I'm more interested in if the queens kept the Origin project a secret, because the citizens seems oblivious of the "worlds colliding" (I think I'd notice a planet on a collision course with the one I'm on, wouldn't you?)... or maybe it's just a plot hole the merge will happen, eventually, yes... but the first time, the Origin malfunctioned - and that's the sole reason for xenoblade 3 story even existing (which is kinda... meh)
@@Paradox1012 idk I think he was just a plot device lol it makes no sense why he’s there. Especially if no one else knew of the worlds’ merging, who’s fear is he even embodying other than Melia, Nia, and all their close allies/friends? Melia and Nia were speaking like Z is the amalgamation of EVERYONE’S fears but how would they have those fears if they didn’t even know it was happening
@@rhettmitchell I mean ,nias flashback and the intro cutscene with noah suggest that people did see impending doom coming toward the planet. And I dont think every single person knew about origins existence. Could just be that enough people wanted "time to stop" so they wouldn't die.
I am excited to see what comes next for the series, especially if they lean away from the perfect works inspirations a little bit. Don't get me wrong, I like the nods to Takahashi and Saga's original grand vision, but they've been reusing some of the same story and thematic ideas for decades now. I think it would be refreshing to see the series taken in a fresh new direction
Same. Don't get me wrong, I love the Perfect Works acknowledgements, but I think we can move on at this point. Heck, all the references to it has led to me having some mixed thoughts on Xenoblade 3.
I hope with the next Xenoblade, Takahashi and Monolith Soft tone decide to do a more upbeat setting. Xenoblade 3 gave me some serious depression from chapter 5 through the ending
@@matthewdunaway7622 Well the darker tone is pretty much a staple of the series aside from Xenoblade 2. I think Takahashi even said that game was his break from depressing stories, or something along those lines.
I mean, the story has been the same concept for Xenogears and Xenosaga too, it's like a traditional way of saying things stays and changes, eh.... probably.
@@ltb1345 And 2 was still able to get really dark when it wanted to like with implied sex trafficking and 3/4 of the game being the most convoluted suicide attempt I've ever seen. FINALLY, It took me 160 hours but I can now watch the spoiler section lol. Can't wait for theories and all that stuff, this game has a lot of questions to answer
My major hope for content just on xc3 currently is the two new classes outside the spoiler classes, also give us a Mythra/Pyra class and adult Rex partnered as a hero and Shulk as a hero with Monado Rex, as a weapon, maybe even Elma with her class and weapon with the Nopon Archsage just cause i like that nod, besides our two guaranteed classes, and the main cast gets together from the expansion story as an epilogue at the end cause aint gunna lie, that ending for xc3 made me cry a little ngl

Luxin, since you’re a Xeno mastermind, I need to know who Riku is and why Melia seems to already know him when the party frees her in chapter 7. Looking forward to your videos on 3 bro🤙🏼
@@ethanbrown6188 evidence does seem to point towards most of the characters from the cast (along with some heroes) seem to be descendants of the protagonists from 1 and 2
Better yet picture this: the main cast are the direct children of the main cast but have been stuck in the death and rebirth cycle for so long they are now living much farther in the future than they should be
Of course Melia would know him, he’s the mechanic for a Kevesian colony, and happens to tag along with Noah a lot of the time (who goes to Keves Castle for off-seer training). I think there’s something going on with Riku more than the story tells us, but it’s highly unlikely that Melia wouldn’t know him.
I really hope that the DLC includes a Torna-like expansion, but set a couple years after the ending. Without getting into spoilers, anyone reaching the end knows how much of a tear-jerker it is, and I really hope we get a pay-off for the promise made between the Agnes and Keves bunch. A nice little bow to wrap everything up definitively, before moving on to a new era of Xenoblade stories (or atleast a completion of the X storyline)
The ending is especially heart-breaking taking into account that endings for both XC1 and XC2 were pretty much happy endings (in XC2 case - probably best ending fans could wish for, retroactively).
@@lentinant Well actually the post credit scene implies Noah was able to reunite with Mio as you see him disappear, indicating the two worlds can be traversed. But regardless, I would like an epilogue featuring the group reuniting.

I feel like anything x related is going to be addressed outside of 3 I’m pretty sure we are going to get xenoblade x definitive edition or something x related around 2025 if they follow the release cycle they have been, plus it would make sense since that would be the 10 year anniversary of x the same as what they did for XC1, if they follow their pattern we should get a torna sized dlc a year from release then about 2 years later after that some sort of game announcement
Me: Watches the video up to the spoiler part and then stops to beat the game after a few more days. Comes back to the video after the game is over and is then told to do the 2 extra quests. Comes back the next day after the quests are over to finally hear some speculation about the future of the franchise. Me: Worth it.
I don't think a prequel could do much for Ionios, but a sequel to set up the future setting of the series, that'd be perfect to capstone and explain what we need to know going into XC4
@@jackjohnson8305 Although I don't agree with the villains being completely trash, I do think this story was a bit rushed. At least in terms of pacing.
I feel like we haven't heard the last of fogbeasts. Not necessarily saying they'll be a major antagonist in the future, but that something will involve them. I know you mentioned that they could have just been foreshadowing the idea of enemies from beyond the world, and that moebius fits that bill, and I don't disagree, but at the same time I feel like there's a lot of major differences between moebius and the fogbeasts that just make me feel like they might be out there somewhere still.
@@ltb1345 I mean, i think the important part is how monado rex was created. I guess mabye it will be more relevant to DLC? Cause monado rex is on the expansion pass? Not saying a agree with it but wouldn't be surprised lol.

At this point in time I think Aionios is a primitive for of Mira that became a dime sional nexus for existing between dimensions, with L from Xenoblade X being a different kind of Mobius whose desire is learning
I can't wait to finish the game and come back here! I've loved every second of the 80 hours I put in so far, and I know I've probably still got a few hundred hours left!
If you think about it, Xenoblade 3 is much alike Kingdom hearts 3 in terms of setup for the future of their respective series, both games are the end to a decades long story arc, with the post-release story dlc (Re-Mind) being a bridge to help establish what comes next.
That might be because from what I’ve heard the KH creator was working under Xeno creator before Kingdom hearts was created. I believe this is probably true since the major Antagonist from Xenoblade 2 Jin was designed by KH creator. The teacher and student would probably have similar story writing and game creation logic
I honestly never expected that we’d get any definitive answers about what Shulk & co and Rex & co were up to after their games ended, and not much of Nia & Melia either, for the exact reason you mentioned in that it’d be impossible to please everyone, so I figured it’d be mostly untouched. We actually got more connections than I even expected to be honest, which was a nice surprise. See, the first 30 hours or so, just the fact that this was their worlds combined, it was all I could think about. How did we get here? What happened to my favorite characters? It was distracting me. Thankfully the cast of 3 is so good that eventually I cared just as much about their story and let the other stuff go, so a job well done on that front.
I've been watching your channel since 2 came out, and I've spent the last few months avoiding anything xenoblade like the plague to avoid spoilers, but man it feels really nice to hear your voice again
SPOILER . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . This is purely thematic conjecture, but Xenoblade 3 really did strike me in a very similar way as Dark Souls 3, it's a game trying to wrap up lose ends so that the creators can move on to new things that will definitely share similarities, but are not dragged down by the past, I'm expecting the DLC to reinforce this theme just as it did for that game, for it to be one final send off to the Klaus saga, and maybe to Perfect Works as a whole.
@@Paradox1012 "proper merging" huh... wouldn't that be annihilation (as it seems like one world is matter and the other world i antimatter)... They wanted to avoid annihilation, that's why the build the Origin, but Origin malfunctioned, and that's basically how the world of Aionios and the OG Moebius blokes (X, Y, and especially Z) came to be... because the Origin's A.I. got corrupted :/
@@ArinJager1 aionios wasn't a proper merge it was a mistake created by corruption as you say. The post credits scene implies to me that either A: the worlds have merged more sbutely, as if it had been that way from the start or B they have started to do so after that moment. Also origins "AI" (if you can call it that) is inextricably tied to humanity somehow so its function will change dependent on the will of the collective consciousness. ( kind of exactly how U.DO and Zarathustra work in xenosaga, funny how that coincidence came to be, lol)
I could see the heroes getting more quests and more class ranks, not saying that will happen but that would add more content too. I can see alot of ways they can go with the content and I'm excited.
I'm only watching the non-spoiler section, so I'm just going to mention that in Japanese, there are no plurals. So the words for "story" and "stories" is the same. I wouldn't read too much into that word.
So looking forward for what else Xenoblade 3 has in store. I wonder if they will do anything with X. With it being one of the Wii U's best games, I think they should do more with X.
I really really want an epilogue with a proper justification for everything… the ending is super ok if you’re not a Xeno fan, but if you are, you know what is missing from it to make it a really satisfying conclusion
I just finished the game and am so excited to see your upcoming content. I remember being a frequent watcher of your content when Xenoblade 2 had just come out and I’m so excited to experience the Luxin Xenoblade analysis train again :)
Okay, finally did everything you said I should do before watching the rest of the video, and here's my thoughts on the finale and the game overall: (Do not read onward unless you are willing to read spoilers.) I'm honestly right there with you, Luxin. While I enjoyed the game a ton and definitely agree that it's a worthy addition to the saga alongside 1 and 2, 3's ending kinda left me asking more questions than I'd like. It's the first time I didn't feel completely satisfied with a Xenoblade ending (though I haven't finished X, so I can't say anything about that). And I do agree, they probably left the door open for the DLC stories. I do hope they answer the questions I have left (what happened to the people of the City, what happened to Shulk and Rex and the rest of the 1 and 2 cast, is there a Consul A, and more), but realistically, I'm expecting the DLC story to be the origin story of the City, much like Torna was to 2. Now, I would LOVE for you to be correct and we get a true ending where the worlds of 1 and 2 properly merge and Noah and Mio reunite, but I don't think that's gonna happen. That being said, this game was a wild ride, and despite the ending not being as satisfying as I was hoping it would be, I absolutely loved this game. It definitely ranks above 1 for me, not quite sure if it beats 2 in my mind, but I will conceded it had probably the best gameplay of the series.
It really doesnt make sense imo for the dlc story to be a prequel. The art for the DLC literally shows the 3 swords, implying that Rex and Shulk are somewhat part of the DLC story (in xc2, the dlc art showed Torna) and the whole point of Aionios and the thematic behind XC3 is to look towards the future and not on the past. Aionios is already gone, there's no point to seeing what happened in the past. Compared to Torna, where we got snippets and clips of what happened in Torna in the base story of XC2, so Torna existing makes sense and only helps to boost the characters in 2.
I do think all future xeno games should have some kind of relation to the Zohar, zohar symbolism or wave existence like beings. It's kind of the xeno trademark by now.
@@yzois The key that unlocks Nia's hiding place looked vaguely similar to a cross shape, but I think that’s honestly a stretch. It did stand out to me though
Origin stored the light (data) of all those who were in Aionios, right? So if Origin still exists as a construct in both 1 and 2's universe, then it still has all the data from the lives that were born in the Endless Now, I imagine that it also has all those stored memories and feelings in the form of the motes of light.
You know what would be great? If Monolithsoft pulled a Trails Series and just kept going into more story arcs in the same world. Not necessarily something that will happen, but it would be cool.
I think what they could do is just swap between the fairly distant future of 1 and 2’s worlds, so 4 would be in 1’s universe, 5 in 2’s universe, and just go back and forth for however long they want. They already have an explanation for new terrain with the endings of both 1 and 2, so it’d be really easy for them.
whatever the dlc turns out to be, I would be disappointed if it was specifically a prequel based around *those characters* that it could likely be based on. That would be a complete waste of time since that potential story line has no extra depth than it already has in the main game. It's just not all that important because of the nature of the world and truths about Aionios.
I'd like to see a "warriors" spin-off game... set in "distant past" (who knows for how long did the Keves VS Agnus war been going on) of Aionios. It could have a brand new characters (you know, homecoming'd people are erased and don't get reborn in a pod, who knows what kind of rebelious, heroic characters were deleted before we got to the point of the main game and its storyline... or the "lost numbers" folk from the city - in its early days: who knows how many times was the city wiped out... Or... nah, that'd be a huge spoiler, so, not gonna say that)... now, that's a spin-off, not the DLC, the DLC better not be a prequel, prequels are pointless, because you know how they'll end
Xenoblade's structure as a franchise is eerily similar to the Trails/Kiseki series imo. Where Trails has the Sky, Crossbell, Cold Steel and Kuro Story Sagas, Xenoblade has the Klaus Saga and whatever's next. Plus at the end of each saga, we get a Hajimari style epilogue that wraps up the entire saga while preparing players for a new journey basically what I expect the Story DLC for 3 to be.
Nia saying “I’ll see you soon” really threw me off as at first it made it seem like somehow more time had passed for Melia than Nia, which after remembering Shulk was there in the first city I was wrong- but mostly because it was unclear how the Origin reboot actually works- does it basically restore the worlds to where they were when the convergence occurred or was it just recreating the world & people using data, I guess kind of like how Alrest was created, and there seemed to have been implications that everyone’s memories would be gone. A lot of questions. I mean everyone else in the photo could be explained living a long time (even Rex could be BS’ed due to having bonded with Pnuema for so long), but Morag being alive kinda cements it wasn’t as long as we originally thought.
consul A, alvis? alvis isn't evil nor good, he's a pretty neutral force so it's not crazy to think that he became a consul to blend in. i don't think it will be important in the future quite honestly, possibly just a reference or something to question. but it's very specific that A is excluded
I think you may be being a bit hasty even suggesting the City's people and the Nopon were retconned out. Did you even pay attention to all the setup and dialog about how they specifically believe in a future too? Xeno games are dark, but when that kind of hopeful dialog is given towards the end of the plot, it usually means that's what's gonna happen. I believe the City folk were reborn somewhere. Maybe between the worlds? Maybe their distant ancestors were indeed from the original worlds and so they can all be reborn? Who knows. I just think you made a bit of a logical leap that contradicts what the writers were saying Noah and Co were even fighting for.
Honestly Idk why they had to reset everything kinda defeats the purpose of fighting for the future of your just going to go back in the past and undo everything.
@@thatoneblackdude3333 They didn't undo everything. At the ending, we see Noah hear Mio's flute and he smiles before disappearing, implying the worlds can be traversed.

I was introduced to xc2 first, after 500hrs or so, I took up playing X since I bought a Wii U at launch and never used it. I've played Gears, Saga, and XC:DE, and now 300 or so hours in 3. For those who have not played X, it's my favorite, I still play it (on the Wii U) and have as many hours on it as I do the other XC combined. It's worth playing, even if you end up hating me or the game.
Also, if you haven't played the game, listen to the advice about the question marks. The person who introduced me to the series didn't listen to me saying that and felt unfulfilled when he finished the story. Take your time.
I went off of social media for two weeks to beat this game without being influenced by the opinions of other people and... I am VERY VERY glad other people feel it is incomplete. So many things seem to happen that elude to being massively important, but ultimately don't go anywhere. I remember a very specific moment where Riku nods his head at Melia as if to reassure that there's a bigger plan to it all that he knows about. It's like Riku and Melia somehow knew each other prior to the events of the plot. Like he knew all along to give the sword to Noah. It's also never explained where the sword came from/ who specifically created it. I'm also unsure how flesh eater core crystals can just resonate to help create Ouroboros stones, and why they just exist outside the scope of what Z and Origin are capable of controlling. Nia basically states there's a reason, but doesn't say what that reason is. The ambiguity of it all just left me certainly wanting more, but I feel like the endings of 1 and 2 were concrete enough that I felt fully satisfied with their endings... cant say the same about 3 though unfortunately.
I'm so glad someone mentioned the whole Riku and Melia thing. At the time I was playing I was thinking to myself that something is gonna happen with Riku at the end but nothing did. I feel like Riku is eluded to be someone very important but I can't seem to figure out who. He was the one who held Lucky Seven until he gave it Noah. Lucky Seven is essentially a monado based on the symbols it has in battle. The only thing Riku tells us is that his dad founded Lucky Seven which makes me think that maybe in the dlc we will find out more cause it's kinda weird to me that a weapon as legendary and strong as Lucky Seven was just held and founded by random Nopons. I keep trying to theorize stuff but nothing comes to mind. Maybe we do have to wait for dlc or maybe someone smarter than me can come up with better theories for the origin of Lucky Seven and who exactly is Riku
either it means something (Riku is very SUS - all nopons are, tbh)... or it means nothing, like how in X Tatsu mentions "homs" and the party is like "WTF is homs?!" and he's like "tee-hee!"

Also, if this is the end of the Klaus saga idk how when the conduit, trinity, Klaus or Galea, or any other meta xeno things are not mentioned in game.
Epilogue! Spoilers for the finale Noah flat out disappears at the end when the birds fly by the camera so it'd be a massive shame to leave that giant detail unanswered.
Spoiler Spacer for anyone who clicks on this reply: I want to think that was more for just cinematic flair to be honest. Although, i can't for sure say that he did not. Since (don't wanna say names) were waiting for him This games whole ending left me with more emotional damage and questions, than answers if i'm being completely honest here lmao
I'm totally fine with what the ending got. They saved the lore points of moebius and aionios to allow this series to have a great emotional core. I love it. Though with the dlc I am interested to see these threads and am hyped for it. I do think it is gonna be both a prologue and an epilogue. It also is literally fc and torna smashed together so in a meta sense it works. People can also be hyped for both the main cast of 1 and 2 doing stuff (and maybe a certain aegis villain thanks to alvis) and 3s team reuniting who now can rival 1 and 2s cast now. It works perfectly and sets up for stories to be told in the combined world separate from klaus's consequences
I wasn’t sure about Noah Sword of Origin like how it connects to Shulk Monado and Rex Aegis Blade design wise. And how Noah using it looking like iron man gauntlet
the ganutlet is Noah's og BLADE(TM), the origin sword is hidden inside it, because "oh no! it's too powerful and should only be used when absolutely necesarry!" (if Noah used it all the time, he'd basically speedrun the game in easy mode, lol)... Why it's a gauntlet? Who knows! I thought he'd get his own moebius-esque full set of armor, but he didn't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I could see this for the dlc (spoilers) Hero 1: Colony Sigma's commander. (They're on the affinity chart, but as far as I'm aware, completely inaccessible) Hero 2: Someone from Keves. Makes sense since Sigma is Agnus. Also, I feel this one should be a lot more focused on Lore, just cause. Story: Given that line about the stories hinting at the future, I think it'll be an epilogue. Could be about how the worlds merge w/o Moebius, or how they establish permanent contact in a way that doesn't cause the worlds to get attracted to each other and cause destruction
As much as I love the characters and their arc in xenoblade 3, the ending was really a let down to me ... I really hope the dlc gives a bit more insight into everything left unexplained.
I thought xenoblade 3 was a perfect send off to the xeno we onced knew. The main villain of xbc3 reminds me of The main villain of saga. To the point where it feel like we truly defeated him. But who knows because this story never truly ends.
the main villain reminds me of Necron (from final fantasy 9) - out of nowhere (ok, so he's been there from the beginning, but whatever), and kinda pointless :/ (and also the final boss of EarthBound... and Andross from starfox, because he's a big dumb head thing, lol)
The hero silhouette looks to be an android of some sort idk how the consul thing works but if you saw the ending then you’d know that consul powers aren’t really required
I really hope that nopon are present always we haven't had so many archetypes as nopon party members I want an emo nopon, a tsundere nopon and also a hot headed nopon always going violence first
On the note of the expansion pass heroes, only one of them is a new character, so long as current datamines are accurate and no new class icons are added. Spoilers in the read more, so click at your own risk. In datamines of class icons of XC3, the ones currently not tied to heroes you can use in normal gameplay are one that is used by Mwamba's sharpshooter class (So there's a chance of getting him as a hero), one of a mace that very closely resembles the Blade used by Joran before he became Moebius, and finally one of an unknown Blade that resembles the Catalyst Scimitar icon from XC2 somewhat.
I agree on what your saying this is like what kingdom hearts did one arc is over and now it's a new arc but. I feel the next one or even the epilogue is going to deal with time. I looked at the picture of the expansion pass and I saw a broken clock
(SPOILERS) Bc the ending song talks about meeting again and that whole ending vibe makes me believe the dlc will be after the story, maybe like chapter 8 to 10, making them meet again to face a one last threat (also the return of other characters bc of the whole expansion pass art with all the Monados). Also it would answer things like the Lucky Seven's true name
Personally I liked the Picture featured in the credits since it did answer some leftover questions from X2. And I feel the 2 party postgame dlc you were suggesting would be how I would like it. End the Clause Saga by making the world choose it's state not him. (Working around spoilers for the people who haven't finished who want to look at comments.) Spoilers below I still constantly question how Mio and Nia have so many similar traits (the same flesh eater crystal and several almost identical facial features). And the way Nia looks at Mio sometimes including the ascension quest makes me feel that there is more there aside from the "M" thing. If anything that picture made me feel that maybe there is a much more noteworthy connection somewhere. That may be revealed in the DLC. I would kinda love if the story expansion was a follow Noah and Mio in a setting to recombine the world's properly and attach the "future connected" as a subtext for it. Or utilizing a method of the 2 world's being separate but have some means of transport between them as the final bit of the story expansion. Other games have done both of these ideas so it's not farfetched for it to be a potential concept.
yeah there's a side quest blurb with Nia and Mio ("Mia" lol)... and Nia is about to say something, but gets cockblocked by the party... what a cock tease! >x
@@renren47618 sadly people will complain regardless
Honestly there aren’t that many questions about the history. We know how major characters came to be where they are, how the world came to be the way it is, etc. It’s possible they could show the first annihilations and how the original casts reacted, but an epilogue is definitely possible too
@@DavidHosey1 I think that we should get a prequel focused on Z and the founders
Maybe even an epilogue where we play as SPOILER ALERT:
N and M crew that we saw in flashbacks and see N going more and more hopeless in his own feets, untill we finally get a chance to be convinced by Z
Or at least a DLC where shows more about Z and the Moebius honestly
A "we have to find the others story" using Eunie journal from taion or something lol
That would be perfect, I don’t know if I’d be happy with anything now haha
I would kill to see Noah and shulk adventuring together, same with Mio and Rex, god I just really hope they take the epilogue route and finally wrap up this trilogy
I really thought that Noah would be a "contact" (like Abel)... I guess I was wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well of course mio would adventure with her father we just wouldn't see it should it not become dlc
Torna was DLC themed in the past, Future Connected was themed in the Future, and I believe the final DLC for 3 is gonna be themed in the Present that will be the closure of the "Klaus Trilogy"
Same here, as well, 1 had a future theme, whereas 2 had a bit of a past theme
Hopefully it tackles both the past and future. Main story about the future and Hero quests can tackle the past. Pretty much a 60$ game in a 30$ season pass😂
Especially talking about the 'endless now' its probably gonna be a closure to this saga as a whole
It (I hope) will probably do both truthfully. Since the world was reset by origin we could go back and see the world pre-Z and then adventure to gain a bridge between the two worlds and re-unite Noah and Mio.
the "present" in this context can mean litteraly anything. so that dosent exactly help lol.
One thing that made me really sad during this game was seeing all the fossils that were named after monsters that weren't in the game like Ponios indicating that they became extinct
RIP the ponios that would interrupt my party during the battle against Rotbart
The best part though...
*Fossil Fossil Monkey*
I love details like that. I also like how you see the dead monsters and soldiers while exploring the world. It makes you think what happen to them.
@@texanman7191 "what happened to them" - they're dead, bro (:D)
I do, however, get a little schadenfreude from collecting Gyanna fossils. Those things were so annoying in Torna, the only other Xeno game I’ve played.
Xc3 did not conclude the klaus saga. Klaus wasn’t even in the game or referenced at all. His story ended in 2.
The whole game was a metaphor for moving on from the past and the fears we have that prevent us from doing so.
So many questions left unanswered: what happened to the fog king? Why did both worlds unfuse and rewind time again? If the origin could do that to begin with, why did it? Where is Shulk?
Did every side quest, complete the game, defeated every unique monster, and completed the collectapedia, this game was a wild ride
Starting new game plus tomorrow
Damn did you get it early?
Is it your favorite? The entire trilogy is top tier fiction, but I’m curious if this is the peak for you
@@TheGaara802 ikr doing literally everything is next to impossible for anyone who got it day 1 like most of us lol
What the heck how are you 100 percent so fast how many hours is on the save
@@DavidHosey1 Honestly, it peaked gameplay and main characters but has the most underwhelming villains and ending(not because they are bad, but because they don't reach the same standards as the other games, and either way, they are nice villains for JRPG standards, they only are "bad" for XC)
Being peak fiction or not, depends more of your experience
However i can say that:
XC1: Best story
XC2: Best Villains and field tjemes
XC3: Best Gameplay, Best Battle Soundtrack and some nice ambiental ones too, best main cast, best "open" world, best side quests and best graphics
As someone who isn't satisfied with how they wrapped it up, I really want an epilogue.
Agreed.
Not really want
More like NEED
Definitely.
If they want to call this the end of the Klaus/Experiment-saga, then they need to definitively combine the 2 worlds, not leave it on an open cliffhanger like this
Like, the story of 3 was great, but for the greater plot of the saga, 3 was definitely lacking.
I don't know what to think about the end. I want to see every of my ship were cannon (Mio and Noah inclued) but does that make me a Mobius for not moove foward.
@@Justic_ I couldn't agree more
I was seriously expecting Xenoblade 3 to cover the concept of what happens after death, but instead it teases it even more. The concept of seeing people after death is teased in Xenoblade 1, 2, 3, and even X.
And honestly, I think that concept makes a lot of sense for an X2

@@vivid8979 Yeah, I'm with you on that one. You know just about all you need to know with them.
@@vivid8979 There was nothing to discuss with Torna but we got DLC on it anyway.

2nd it's the Origin story which polished alot of backstory from characters, Specially Jin with Lora and Mythra with Adam which clears how was the Aegis war started and why even Pyra was made and why she's in the ship in the beginning..
Agreed. I honestly couldn't care less about the Founders, but an epilogue practically feels essential in this game's case.
I'm more interested in if the queens kept the Origin project a secret, because the citizens seems oblivious of the "worlds colliding" (I think I'd notice a planet on a collision course with the one I'm on, wouldn't you?)... or maybe it's just a plot hole
the merge will happen, eventually, yes... but the first time, the Origin malfunctioned - and that's the sole reason for xenoblade 3 story even existing (which is kinda... meh)

That might be because from what I’ve heard the KH creator was working under Xeno creator before Kingdom hearts was created. ( kind of exactly how U.DO and Zarathustra work in xenosaga, funny how that coincidence came to be, lol)
I could see the heroes getting more quests and more class ranks, not saying that will happen but that would add more content too. I can see alot of ways they can go with the content and I'm excited.
new locations, new colonies to liberate, new heroes... would be cool
Literally just finished xc3 5ish ago as of typing this still recovering but happy to see a new luxin vid
im personally on team epilogue. I need closure from that ending cutscen. I love these characters too much
I'm only watching the non-spoiler section, so I'm just going to mention that in Japanese, there are no plurals. So the words for "story" and "stories" is the same. I wouldn't read too much into that word.
The statue that you said looks like Noah, I honestly thought it looked like Fei, the guy from Xenogears
speaking of which... I really thought that Noah would be a "contact" type of character (like Abel/Fei), but I was wrong :(
So looking forward for what else Xenoblade 3 has in store.
Welcome back, Luxin! Looking forward to more!
The ending is so bittersweet!!!! Even more so with the post ending!!!!!!
I really wish the post game hero quests would have been available before beating the game. It would have hit so much different.
I just finished the game and am so excited to see your upcoming content. I remember being a frequent watcher of your content when Xenoblade 2 had just come out and I’m so excited to experience the Luxin Xenoblade analysis train again :)
Random theory about Consul A:
Alvis
Okay, finally did everything you said I should do before watching the rest of the video, and here's my thoughts on the finale and the game overall:
(Do not read onward unless you are willing to read spoilers.)
I'm honestly right there with you, Luxin.
I can’t believe I got stopped by a second spoiler warning lmao
I do think all future xeno games should have some kind of relation to the Zohar, zohar symbolism or wave existence like beings. It's kind of the xeno trademark by now.
The zohar symbol was peppered throughout this game
Honestly they should do it sparingly, especially cause they might want to continue/expand the currently amazing stories they have going with Xenoblade
@@ShadowSkyX how so?

The key that unlocks Nia's hiding place looked vaguely similar to a cross shape, but I think that’s honestly a stretch.
Started watching this midway through my playthrough, now that I'm done I can finally finish the video
i really hope its an epilogue that explains how the worlds come together
I came back here to finally watch the spoiler section and then daddy Luxin said I gotta do the post game classes. I’ll be back in another week
3 distinctly ends with 1 and 2 managing to merge correctly.
they can just stop milking that after 3s dlc, no need to continue it, makes it lame and very non creative.
YESSSSSS I literally was just asking myself how long until Luxin starts posting again
whatever the dlc turns out to be, I would be disappointed if it was specifically a prequel based around *those characters* that it could likely be based on.
A cool picture of tow mater saying “I want you”
Xenoblade's structure as a franchise is eerily similar to the Trails/Kiseki series imo.
Alvis is portrayed as a very anti-stagnation person from his actions in XC1.
ok but consul B has to be Bana right?
@@flayncele nah, just generic consul for hero quest from colony 9
@@ven9821 oh shit, I actually forgot about that one lol
I’ve seen some Riki=Alvis theories because he seems to know Melia from somewhere and he gives Noah his “monado”
Xenoblade fans when there's no 5000 iq ass pull plot twist where its revealed that the main villain is the God of wet dreams
They coukd simply add the data of the people from the city to origin and they will be reborn eventually.
@@DarknesstheHedgehog6 No that's just symbolic of Noah and mios bond being unbreakable they literally undid anything reversed back to the vary beginning of the game juren who is supposed to he permanently dead is alive again.

I finished a week ago and was hoping for this video to come out
I was introduced to xc2 first, after 500hrs or so, I took up playing X since I bought a Wii U at launch and never used it.
Duuude the Riku Melia thing is so weird. They have to touch on that in the DLC man
either it means something (Riku is very SUS - all nopons are, tbh)... or it means nothing, like how in X Tatsu mentions "homs" and the party is like "WTF is homs?!" and he's like "tee-hee!"
finally: Xenogun Chronicles
We already had a prequel. We need a full on epilogue if they want to close the book on the Klaus saga.
I hope the dlc resolves the issues I have with the ending. Because the rest of the game was amazing.
How do you feel about the ending?
@@Richvwolfie8 the character moments/feels were the best in the series. But the plot itself feels contradictory to the exposition dump in chapter 6.
Also Z SUCKED as a villain.
@@Richvwolfie8 the overarching message of the game was contradicted by its finale. And it undermines basically every character arc across the entire cast. It also nukes it’s own lore and basically locks the game world from having much added or explained.

It expands the lore, and the world is already confirmed to be added upon and explained through an entire expansion next year and possible connected games in the future

This game was great until the end imo. Origin and Z were handled pretty bad. I hope that the DLC will add the clarity it needs. If the DLC pulls through it will make a great xeno game in to a perfect one. Don’t want to overhype the DLC, but how can you not. Also, if this is the end of the Klaus saga idk how when the conduit, trinity, Klaus or Galea, or any other meta xeno things are not mentioned in game.
Exactly
Was only able to stay for the first half but thank you for all the content you make and I'll be back once I'm further through 3.

Noah flat out disappears at the end when the birds fly by the camera so it'd be a massive shame to leave that giant detail unanswered.

@@navi8801 same bro im probably going to be depressed for like 2 months. and i just hit my strive with my VA training lmao.
Plot Twist: Everything leads to Xenoblade Chronicles X
Just started chapter 6 and yeah, I feel confused so looking forward to your analysises.
I could see this for the dlc (spoilers)
Hero 1: Colony Sigma's commander. (They're on the affinity chart, but as far as I'm aware, completely inaccessible)
Hero 2: Someone from Keves.
Hate to burst your bubble, colony sigma is dead, Noah and colony 9 killed them at the start of the game
They definitely do have access to Nintendo's EPD tools considering how closely they work with them for Zelda, Splatoon and Animal Crossing.
But who knows because this story never truly ends.
the main villain reminds me of Necron (from final fantasy 9) - out of nowhere (ok, so he's been there from the beginning, but whatever), and kinda pointless :/ (and also the final boss of EarthBound... and Andross from starfox, because he's a big dumb head thing, lol)
consuls z and mobius are cringe how can this guy write 2 amazing games only to ruin it in the 3rd???? disguisting
Man I really watched the two halves of this video 3 weeks apart
I finally beat the base game. Now I can binge all the videos you posted over the past 9 months 😅
My bet is that the silhouette in volume 2 dlc is consul A. Its going to be a pre origin quest.
The hero silhouette looks to be an android of some sort idk how the consul thing works but if you saw the ending then you’d know that consul powers aren’t really required
I really hope that nopon are present always we haven't had so many archetypes as nopon party members I want an emo nopon, a tsundere nopon and also a hot headed nopon always going violence first
Maybe Counsel A is the silhouette of the DLC hero?
Yaaay, I've been waiting for this!! 😤👍
27:26 it's also a Rex quote btw
I looked at the picture of the expansion pass and I saw a broken clock
thats most likely just the nopon sage's challenge battle area since you can also see the clouds surrounding it like in 1 and 2.
(SPOILERS)
Bc the ending song talks about meeting again and that whole ending vibe makes me believe the dlc will be after the story, maybe like chapter 8 to 10, making them meet again to face a one last threat (also the return of other characters bc of the whole expansion pass art with all the Monados). Also it would answer things like the Lucky Seven's true name
Lucky Seven’s true name is The Sword of the End as opposed to Ns Sword of Origin, this is stated a few times in game.
@@obamaorb7426 i have 60h in the game and didn't even notice that (for most time i thought noah was gonna name it "Monado" for the fan service)

Personally I liked the Picture featured in the credits since it did answer some leftover questions from X2. And I feel the 2 party postgame dlc you were suggesting would be how I would like it. End the Clause Saga by making the world choose it's state not him. (Working around spoilers for the people who haven't finished who want to look at comments.)

I still constantly question how Mio and Nia have so many similar traits (the same flesh eater crystal and several almost identical facial features). Other games have done both of these ideas so it's not farfetched for it to be a potential concept.
yeah there's a side quest blurb with Nia and Mio ("Mia" lol)... and Nia is about to say something, but gets cockblocked by the party... what a cock tease! >x
