      The fp30x, i have it. Def sounds like a real piano, you have to hear the sound yourself to judge but i would say it is very close to a real piano

    I would go for the Roland FP-E50. So much more value and functions for not that much more money.

    Hi, I have a technical question. I was given (for free and that's a fair price) old Roland keyboard. What type of cables should I use? normal guitar type or trs?

  • @StarQueenEstrella

    Of these, I think I would much prefer the Yamaha. Changing sounds is much easier on that, the weight of the keys feels more even, and it’s not a fingerprint magnet.

    Only two things really count for me, 1 the sound , 2 the action. The Casio sound really surprised me, much better than I expected. The Yamaha was really disappointing not a huge step up from my 10 year old P105. The Roland voice sample is great but otherwise not for me.

    Hallo Andertons, thank you for this comparison of these 3 digital pianos. About my opinion, whether Yamaha with this last p225 has made many steps upwards than prwvious p125, Roland p30x is at 1 place for its features as acoustic piano voices more realistic, a wonderful 11 watt x 2 internal highspeakers and an astonishing quality of keyboard with escapement, triple sensor for each key and these (black and White)are Ivory feel and not plastic like others. Besides pushing the keys when the piano is off there aren't noises, like p225, indeed. In this last keyboard is much more quality now, Ghc!!!!! I find not useful the rhythm pattern in P225. Why don't utilise the same internal memory to add other acoustic piano voices or Electric ones or others? The 3 main acoustic piano voices are a few, against the 12 of only acoustic piano samples of Roland fp30x and 54 at all of this last against 24. What a great difference!! Many greetings.✋✋👏👏👏

    I prefer the Casio grand, E.Piano and strings. I liked the Yamaha organ with chorus. The Roland was meh overall, but I like that vocal preset.

    nice video as always! Since the P225 allows for internal track recording, are you able to record in midi and export that file to a computer?

    • @rafaelmatosdasilva
      @rafaelmatosdasilva 3 месяца назад +1

      @@ELARRUGADO-sq7pk It's not possible to export the internal recordings of the Yamaha P225 digital piano to MIDI. The recordings remain in the internal memory of the piano and cannot be transferred to another device. Just to be clear, I'm referring to the internal recording function of the P225, not using the piano as a MIDI controller. I hope this clears up any confusion.

    Thanks for the video! I'd like to ask an advise; I basically only play classical music. I had a "real piano" until I moved and now I can only buy an electric piano, but don't have any experience with it. Which type would you recommend? One of these two? Casio (in this case which type?) Another one? I can't spend a huge amount of money, so I need something that costs more or less like these two! And I need something that feels similar to the acoustic piano and that is suitable for classical music. Thanks! 🎹

      Ciao Alessandra! 😄
      If you want a piano that sounds and feels closer to the acoustic, then you should go with the FP30X. I have the older version, (the Fp30) and I'm very much satisfied. The keyboard feels absolutely right and i've had friends playing the Mefisto waltzes in it without an issue. That's your best choice in this price if you ask me.
      There are also some good kawai alternatives, but I never could like the Kawai sounds. If you want the top of the top for some €4000, then you can get the Nord Grand. haha.
      Enjoy! :) ,

    The Casio sounds so bright and fun. The E piano has so much stank to it compared to the Yamaha. Even the organ elevator music sounds fun

      @@Lukas-ee5oyYes, it was actually going to be the piano I bought, but after feeling the action and contrasting it with real acoustics, I found it to be a little bit too springy. If you have not already, I HIGHLY recommend trying it yourself. It all comes to how much you enjoy the feel, and if you're trying to play acoustic, how close it is to whatever acoustics you like. As for myself, I have gone down in price and bought a cheaper dp, as the Kawai es120 was in a limbo for me, just not cheap enough for me to afford not completely loving it. If you get what I mean. Again, feel it yourself, what we want in a digital piano action can be different and our price range also differs. good luck

    The Roland PH4 action. If you look for it you will find it. Once you do find it, it makes the other pianos a little unfun to play. Really noticeable if you play at the tops of the keys. Really get nuanced with respect to dynamic range of how hard you want to hit the key and how responsive it is. There is no volume slider on the Roland Fp 30x, and that sucks. I played the fp 60x, and it is superior to everything mentioned here and much better acoustic sense. I have bought an fp-e50, oddly I haven't played it yet. Should arrive tomorrow. It has a tuned box like the fp 60x, less power and the speakers face down. The Roland cloud is easy enough to use after a small learning cure. Got about a thousand sounds on it appx. About 20 to 50 at 2.99 to 20.00 a pop. Always wanting next years model... Looking forward to what the future brings an a little buyers remorse...
