As a Hawaiian, it’s great to see someone from Hawai’i grow up to be one of the greatest of all time. Like he told us when he performed in Hawai’i, “even though we live on a little island in the middle of nowhere, don’t let anyone tell you it isn’t possible to be successful”. and that stuck with me.
