I’ve listened to Jack Johnson more than any other musical artist. His music has been a constant companion through all of my life’s ups and downs. He also just seems like the chillest and most humble dude. He’s a great role model.
The song at 44 minutes is going to be a classic. Jack has such a talent at capturing the preciousness and meaninglessness of life at the same time. He’s not just an amazing artist, he’s a philosopher getting us ready for the end of our journey.

Jack Johnson’s music has helped me through this difficult time of losing my close family member and best friend, Honey. I used to sing one of his songs to her all the time, and now listening to Jack Johnson’s music has been very healing for me. Thank you Jack, for the music and the peace you have brought me along with it.
The best quote from the entire interview. Jack Johnson "Divinity does not transcend reality." He admittedly said he didn't make up the quote but he follows how nature surrounds us and that in itself is magical. A truth bomb and all encompassing!
In between dreams came out on the month and year of by birthday and i still listen to it to this day and it never fails to make me smile, i hope this new album will do the same for these younger generations
I wish the interviewer would have let Jack finish his last thought at the end. I wanted to hear what he had to say! A little golden nugget that's now lost forever in time 😞
it's awesome to hear him singing in this interview with it sounding EXACTLY like it does in the studio album. That's partly why he's one of the best there was
it's the first interaction i ever witness where two people play the guitar. And, i'm overwhelmed by love, 2:00 made me smile so much. It's just playing around, how they have to figure out the sound to play together, it's the peace that does it all. Just wonderful. Jack Jhonson a hero, i've been listening to banana pankakes in my head every single day lately. Just thankyou wonderful humans!
This gave me goosebumps! So good and soooo nice to see that little boy whose house I used to walk by and hear him learning the guitar....so happy for him and his family.
My favorite songwriter of all time... love his music, his melodies and lyrics are mind blowing. Playing and singing his tunes on my guitar give me such a cool feeling. Not to mention the fact that he's seems like such a down to earth guy. Can't wait for his shows in New Zealand this year.
Jack, you’re truly amazing. You’re one of a kind and I genuinely appreciate who you are as a person. Your art touches so many and will forever live on. ❤️
Jack’s definitely not captain obvious. He is a finely tuned observer, word smith, and evokes us listeners to get philosophical. Radically liberating us from the static and distortions of our society.
Been Loving JJ and his music for years. I was Born in NY, found my way to CA when I was 18 then went to Hawaii a few times and OMG fell in love with the feeling there! Ended up in Perth, Au and sharing JJ music with my children for 20+ years! I thank him for lifting up our lives! Can't wait to see you at Kings Park!

turn your love- has always been one of my favorite songs, and the one I go when I need an upper. knowing the story behind it now gives it so much more meaning
Thanks for taking out time to comment on my page, I can't return all the love that's been showed to me, Thanks for viewing.❤️❤️ Where are you watching me from.
Zane always comes out with some wisdom somewhere amongst all the kidding around in these interviews, and the one I took away with me tonight was the lesson Zane heard Jacks Dad really saying when he said to jack about planning a career as an 'Actuary', which was, "if you don't like the sound of being an Actuary, or an Accountant or a Lawyer or whatever, then you better put your best foot forward and seriously commit to your 'Plan A' if you don't want to end up with your 'Plan B' down the line sometime after you fail".
I’ve been back here and listened to this interview many times. Time to leave another comment. I wonder how much longer … “if ever”. There’s a song like that isn’t there? ❤
A more earthbound observation - Jack has written some of the only protest songs of the last 20 years. Mild-mannered 'yes' but this kahuna (lowercase) has big Cojones and a conscience. Go check out 'Crying Shame', 'Good People' and 'Sleep Through The Static'.

Living a dream life in a nice ecological house, recording music when you want, surfing a lot and taking care of the environment and getting the message out. All of this in Hawaii and havin lovely fans on top.
Great interview, though I don’t think Jack Johnson was lucky I think he was blessed with a gift. So many people play guitar extremely well but can’t good write lyrics or melodies . This 10,000 hrs concept is flawed. Thank God for Gifts.
I simply don't trust people who don't love or listen to Jack Johnson. Best. Soul. Ever.
You can trust me cause I love and listen to Jack Johnson

most down to earth person i know is jack johnson. he truly deserves more recognition
I think he’s perfectly rated. Jack Johnson in his flip flops shouldn’t be as mainstream as it gets
:)
You know Jack Johnson?
he doesnt want recognition ! Jack Johnson. Long live the legend
He consistently sells out 20k+ capacity venues, i think he is recognized completely. He deserves every bit of it!

You were right
@@MrJimbeam1116 🤟 "broken" is better, y'all should look into that... And Jack is not cute so....
When the interview ends and you realize you’ve been inadvertently smiling the whole time
Jack Johnson is one of the best musicians out, I wish more people would just smoke a joint and chill out to his music.
Indeed
His talking voice is literally the exact same as his singing voice. I love that.

The best quote from the entire interview. Jack Johnson "Divinity does not transcend reality." He admittedly said he didn't make up the quote but he follows how nature surrounds us and that in itself is magical. A truth bomb and all encompassing!
The immediate humility to say he read it somewhere and he can’t own that geniusness.
What is the meaning behind this quote? English is not my mother tongue, so not sure I really got it 😅
@@Ledahosnbua95 divinity is like an act of god, and it’s saying that an act of god can be found in ordinary life. That miracles are part of reality

I'm here watching this and praying he WILL come to Brazil in 2024, I'll pay whatever I have to to watch him. I won't miss the opportunity this time.
Jack is a LEGEND!! By far my #1 artist. He truly creates the most beautiful music for all stages of life.
I agree
What a great human being! ❤ I feel like it would be amazing to meet and be friends with the Johnson family too 😊

Kind of comforting to know that on those clear, still nights - Jack, you, and I are looking up at the same moon and feeling lucky to be here and now.
what an incredible human being. i cannot wait to see him in concert. couldn't look forward to this album more
The way Zane has found a new way to connect with artists when he was already great at connecting is madness
