Campus news when you got back to school: Eva Morgan was found hanging out at the school machinery shed bugging the guys to let her use excavators and skid loaders. They look at her and say “dang, that girl has skills!”
Great job Eva! Continue to grow and do what you enjoy!

Eva, Two things here…. 1- you have a wonderful teacher. Embrace the time with your father and absorb what he’s teaching you. These are life lessons. You can learn skills you will have your entire life from Dad…..and Mom!.
2- You have THE TOUCH to operate this equipment. Some people cannot understand what it means to be “a smooth operator.” Anyone can pull on a lever but to do under complete control is a gift. Give yourself an hour in each seat and send it’ll become habit.
Can’t wait for the next video.

Hi Eva, You are doing great. Remember what I suggested to you last time. Slow is fast, fast is slow when learning to operate equipment. Plus, starting out fast could get dad upset if you are running into thigs and dinging them up. I know that will not happen with you. Keep up your major at college, even if you do change majors, you have won by learning, not to mention that not many ladies can operate heavy machinery. You my friend are on your way to great success. God bless you and keep up the good work.

I was in High school in 1968, and worked on a farm with a new Bobcat- no cage around the operator. Tires, no tracks. The pioneering days of skid loaders. When I turned I used to do donuts so I didn't back into anything as I turned. One time I had the bucket overloaded with rocks from a potato field, and trying to dump it got on a hill next to the trailer, bucket was not self leveling, a rock came over the top of the bucket and almost landed in my lap. Machines can get dangerous real quick. 3 points.

Nice job your a pretty quick learner. As with any piece of equipment there's a learner curve , the more you run it the easier it becomes and next thing you know it's like it becomes a part of your body, you just know what to do. I can't hardly wait to see you learn how to backup the trailer's, it looks a lot harder than it really is. The only thing you'll need to remember is you only need to turn the steering wheel a little to get the trailer to turn and the longer the trailer the easier it is to backup because they don't react as fast as the shorter trailer will. I'll be looking forward to that video and somehow don't think it'll be to far down the road. Good luck can' wait.

Eva, your dad was right when he said, you are learning fast, but with caution. You know what, when I learned to operate a Galleon 12.5 Ton rubber tire hydrophilic crane the guy teaching me said, "When it is time to back-up, just keep going until you hear glass break!" I could see about as good as you in that machine. Just remember to Thank God every time you, (SAFELY), operate any equipment!
