A good plan to utilize storage would be to buy large amounts when prices are cheap so you wont have to restock often.
Storage is a huge waste! you make plenty of profit, and stocking in morning get's you through the day just fine. Don't waste your money on storage space unless they update a better need for it. IE: stock boys!

you need to jus get more shelves and have 2 product spots for each and put them together then you dont run out as much or at all
That’s the way I’m doing it and seems way easier!!
Every time You restock you should go through the list and look what you lack, instead of trying to remember where each product is
You should really ask the devs to add a label on the price so once u put an item on a shelf it names the price tag. Cause having to remember everything seem like an unintended game mechanic.

products should be somehow have their own shelf like one shelf has 1 product only so you can monitor what is low or not .. not on early but somewhere sooner

best and easy piece of advice! have 2 shelf slots per item, that way you wont run out of a product in 1 store open cycle.
Then re order stock at end and start of day before you open shop. Time does not start until you open store.
With my play through I have given 2 products per shelf. That way you run out of product slower. It will get easier once you get another cashier, then you will just be restocking. With the prices you loose sp when they think they are too expensive so if your trying to get to 20 store level make it market price to maximise your sp

Hey I would make a full water fridge that way your not going to be paying water, two when you get to toilet paper you need to make sure you get a hole shelf for that bc it goes so fast

It is so much easier if you dedicate and entire row (so two spots) to each product. Then you aren't running around so much during the day

I mean a meta I saw was having like a set of 4 per item. e.g on a shelf there is 2 sides so if you have 2 shelfs beside each other, a line would be 4 seperate parts long. then on each line is 1 product. having this much stock easily lasts 1-2 days with minimal stocking and its easier to stoxk once every two days
My store I have 2 shelves per product (4 for some) then I have at least 2 boxes for each product in storage, just restock each morning and only have to fill like 1 or 2 shelves during the day.

I read a comment that said if you lay out your store in the same order as the shop is laid out, it's much easier to restock. Not very satisfying in terms of organisation though
You can order 1 of each item and then start removing product for those you got enough it a lot easier to do it that way than scrolling through all the items to see what you think you may need or not
I think they really need to add shoplifting to this game.
I would suggest you can place your boxes of extra inventory on top of the shelves they sit on

Storage is for buying the product low in bulk. You are still serving so it so much harder

copied comment. Shelves and expansion is WAY more important than licenses. You want enough shelves so one shelf piece only holds 2 products. all for shelves on left one product, all shelves on right another, then agin on back side. This way, once you get it that stocked, your just chasing "topping off" instead of chasing "out of stock". If you get to many licenses before you get things that organized you end up with a lot of complaints about not finding things, which means you level slower ;) ...
Forget storage, unless they make a stockboy and you need it for them, it's a waste of money. easier to order and stock in the mornings.
Also, when you really need to reorganize, just let a few days run, people will complain about not finding things, but they'll kill your shelves, which makes moving things completely around EASY. :)

This series is so good from you and Simon, but please have a different set up/goals so it doesn’t get repetitive because I could see this happening if you post after him.
There’s only so much you can do it’s in early access plus it’s meant to be grindy And repetitive. It’s the charm of the game imo
