To the person who disliked this song, you have the right to remain silent. You have the right to.... REMAIN SILENT.! If you had 2% of Tambu's talent you would think you were a GOD. Please allow us who like Tambu's music to enjoy it and as I said.. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN..........S I L E N T .

I spent a while in T&T in 1990 with the british army, met tambu thro some T&T defence force boys. I cant believe I have managed to find this tune again (thank jah for RUclips). I had such a good time I was seriouly thinking of going AWOL (seriously). Went to my first jump up, had my first roach and was taught to dance properly by a very fat old grandmother (she could still move tho).
Twenty years later I can still remember party boats, jump ups, carib, RUM/cokes & taxi buses. loved it

I remember 1993 Toronto caribana we were going home the train suddenly stopped. I was 13 never forgot how a man just stood up and started singing no no we ain’t home. The black people on train all got up started singing and dancing the non black folks were clapping and hitting the railing on beat. We could also hear the people for the other carts singing with us. For like 15 mins it what we did while us kids was whining down the train in our costumes.

"No No We Ent Going Home"- Christopher "Tambu" Herbert Road March 1990 🏆
Joan dress up in ah Greens, 'cause tonight she on the scenes, so she put on she battle wear
She going to meet she battalion, so they just plan an invasion to create their own atmosphere
The big plan was to invade a party, right there they planned their strategy, to capture the territory
Moving to achieve their goal, they moved in combat style when they got there, the soldiers went wild, wild, WILD!!!!
    Chorus
No No We Aint Going Home, We Ent Leaving
No No We Ent Going Home, 'Cause we feel that we could prance all night, prance all day, music 🎼🎶right, for tonight
The music have we hype we feel we could mash up the town & blow up the city 🏙🌆
No No We Ent Going Home........
Musicians running for cover, the DJ looking for shelter, from the way men in battle wear
Fetters could find no place to hide, trying to go outside, the soldiers were everywhere
?? took over for the DJ instructing everyone what to say to comply with what she say
"If yuh thinking about going home, get that feeling out yuh mind, my instructions were to get down & wine, wine WINE!!!!
    Repeat chorus
Now the people realize, the invasion was ah disguise just to get them to fete nonstop
They dismiss there & settle down, set their mind in condition just to party until they drop
Like a battlefield in a war zone, from the guns 🔫of Calypso bodies folling to & fro
?????? (sometimes its hard to keep up or understand the lyrics)!!! I ain't kidding!!!! 😂🤣
    Repeat chorus
I am sure you heard David Michael Rudder in the chorus!!!!!
This was Tambu's final Road March!!! This hat trick was simlar to Lord Kitchener when he did
The Road (1963), Mama Dis Is Mas (1964) & My Pussin- Road March 1965 😎

Tambu's last Road March, No No We Eh Going Home from 1990. Then he disappears to Berkeley, people are dumbstruck!! Afterwards, he leaves kaiso, Carnival & the stage behind for the church- now just like Ras Shorty I (1941-2000), Mighty Sparrow (Gospelypso) & Denyse Plummer Tambu is known mostly for Gospel music.

@@riyadhrafique8377 Yes he was a replacement as lead vocalist. Filling in for Tambu until he recovered and able to get his voice back to sing again with he the band Charlie's Roots. Pelham was so impressed with David's gift as a singer of lead vocalist. I guess? Pelham and the other band members of Charlie's Roots? Decided to keep both fellow singers to sing lead and have their own composition of their own songs.
