The best part is all the effects you can add to the original sounds. Reverb and or chorus on those strings or bell sounds. Just beautiful.
The reproducibility on KRONOS is high, and it is clear and wonderful.
I found the chorus effect very effective.

Try searching for "Yamaha DX7 SYSEX".
You should find some websites.
There is a huge amount of "DX7 SYSEX", so I think you should choose a site that is easy for you to download.
Also, there are many recent software products that simulate DX7.
There are also products that allow you to export SYSEX data of created tones.
I think there is a way to transfer that data to KRONOS.
5:21 Ah, yeah, the legendary FM electric piano sound, I love it. Can't believe the KORG KRONOS can imitate the FM sound source so well. I also liked the bell sound at 3:35, it's one of my favorite sounds. I love the FM sound source because of the variety of tones you can make, even with only 4 operators (implemented in sound source chips, keyboards and some synths). If you add effects on it, it will sound wonderful.
I think the FM sound source of KORG KRONOS is quite similar to DX7.
Given the same velocity, it sounds just like that.
Applying effects to an electric piano makes it very comfortable to play !!
Gotta love this legendary E.Piano sound. I think I can hear a slight difference between the original and the Kronos. How about you, when you play it live? Does it feel different? Thanks for sharing. A friend of mine has the Kronos, it's a beast.

Due to the difference between the two keys, the velocity could not be exactly the same.
However, if you send the same note data via MIDI from the outside, you will hear almost the same sound.
Of course, the parts of the output section are different, so they are not exactly the same, but they are quite similar.
I also like the DX7's E. Piano sound, so I tried it this time.
You can play comfortably even in Kronos!
I think Kronos is one of the best synths !

@@ita-shin yeah sure. DX7 keys tend to have a loose feeling compared to the Kronos. I played a DX7 once, could never afford it though. But I use the synth variants. But there's just something about playing the original. Thanks for the insight. Someday I'll get myself a Kronos for sure.
