Hey, the LST in the intro is still around! USS LST 325 is still sailing around the Mississippi/Ohio rivers to this day. She’s based out of Indiana. I remember going on board her when I was little in Chester IL. Awesome to see the developers thought of adding her in some small way!
Yep in Evansville, Indiana and is also the last function operating ship that took place in D-Day. She us currently away from here on a tour/maintenance run (prop work)!

I have a problem with this campaign. My map doesn't render right during this campaign. I've done 4 missions so far and just now I noticed the airfield that you start on has an actual runway, mine is just grass... darker grass...
I kinda realize that as time passes the tactics and tendencies of the german military get lost in terms of true to form operations. Like if you put a WW2 pilot behind the controls, it would be a different flying experience because of the tactics and understanding they developed based on the limited amount of technology they had to operate. Onboard radar, missile tracking and bomb targeting must feel like TCS, ABS and ASC in modern cars, sure they do better but flying them doesnt give you the same experience as say a jet that basically hands you the down and pats you on the back with a robot voice. Imagine every time you braked in your car, a signal noise sounded to give you the position of cars around you while a voice said "curb right, curb right" as a beeping indicator gave you your position to the side walk. Doesnt sound as fun to drive all the time does it? Lol grandpa would be proud
Looks cool in formation buuut I would fly back behind them just because of the a I co-pilots😊 that would make you the one flack cannons would be gunning for tho
Looks like you had fun, Wolf. To the Devs - I know it's scripted in the game, but I really do wish games would stop referring to D-Day as the 'Turning Point in the War'. Allied high command (and multiple leaders) stated that by June 1944, the point of D-Day was as much to keep Western Europe out of Soviet hands as to defeat Germany.
Not really. Although a significant portion of the Luftwaffe was by this time desperately defending Germany against bombing raids, there were still some squadrons in Normandy. However, they were absolutely decimated by the constant Allied fighter sweeps like depicted in this campaign.
can we get a tally of what you have killed? You used to do that in other series and it’s impossible to read on the screen.

I would rather see a real fighter... P-47 but good series.
This is a pre-made campaign, bud. Reflected designed it with the P-51 in mind, as it's historically what the Debden Eagles were flying at the time.

What makes the P-51 any less of a fighter than the Jug?
