Experimenting with GALAXY Acrylic Pour today - my first take on the acrylic pouring Space themed art. Funnel Pouring worked out very well for this technique, I really like all the delicate cells it created.
I think that this acrylic galaxy pouring technique is perfect for beginners.
I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you :)

Experimenting with something completely new today! Did you hear that scientist took a First Picture (!) a real Black Hole!!! How crazy is that? It happened several months ago but I only read about it now. It has inspired me to create something Space Themed, and I think that numerous Galaxies are absolutely mesmerizing!
I LOVE that it turned out amazing perfect colors . I definitely want to give that a try only I usually use an old toothbrush to make the tiny stars just dipping it in the paint and running my thumb across the bristles and it works great the tiny little paint "splats" come out perfect. Lol . Just like how the toothpaste gets all over the faucet & sink when a little kid brushes their teeth. !!! Hahaha. . Congrats on an amazing pour as always !! I love turquoise & blues on black no matter what the painting is about. Lol. Thank you for sharing. !!! 😁😁😁😁😘😘😘😘😉😉😉
Research flat Earth, God bless.
Oh my Gosh! Enjoyed every second, it's my favorite pour🤩
@@jro9365 haha thank you so much, Julie! I'll give a toothbrush a try
@@alexsoby7892 so happy to hear that! Thank you!
At first I thought, that doesn’t look like a galaxy- but, boy, after your work with the paint for awhile- voila! Galaxy!! - and I’m a bit of a geeky astronomy buff. One of my first pours was a nebula. Galaxy is on my list of pours. Thx Olga! You’re great!!
Well that gorgeous S.A.M. art on the canvas in black was a very creative way to start your painting Olga!! This is incredible!!! A toothbrush with thinned down titanium white works really well to "flick" the stars onto the canvas also!! WOW Another gorgeous inspirational video, thank you!!
thank you so much! And thank you for mentioning SAM, I tried to recreate my new logo😃 I will need to try the toothbrush as well
@@OlgaSoby You are so inspiring Olga, thanks for all the beautiful art you share!
So glad you did this. I've been searching all morning for an example of a Galaxy pour. My son is an aerospace engineer and I want to surprise him with a painting of the Galaxy.....I'm going to use your funnel technique. Wish me luck...…!!!!!
GOOD LUCK! And aerospace engineer - this is soooo cool! I'd love to see your galaxy pour
@@OlgaSoby I will definitely show you. I even gave it a name.....BTW How do I show you? FB????
So sick 🙌🏼 turned out great.
époustouflant !!!
That's beautiful Olga.
Впечатляет!!!!! Это наша Галактика!
Omg absolutely stunning olga 😯😁
Making the stars works well with an old toothbrush, too 😊. Looks very good, well done.
thank you, I'll give it a try
I like the touch of trademark SAM to start, brilliant! Your galaxy and filming is really dramatic, "to INFINITY and BEYOND!" Another Fabulous piece of art. Tyfs.C 🚀🔭🌬🐾🐾
thank you so much!
@@OlgaSoby My pleasure, totally!!😉🐾
so satisfying to watch
Great intro to your video Olga!!
Spectacular!!!👍 Thank you for sharing! Peace and Love Always, Lorri 💜💙💚💛🧡❤
Awesome!
This is out of this world, I love love LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it ❤️ absolutely beautiful
Thank you very much, Nathan!
Beautiful! 😍
love it Olga!
Olga, I did read the article about the black hole. Very interesting and awe inspiring. I have always loved galaxies and space. I love how yours turned out. I have been trying to get a pour like this but will have to do exactly what you do. Exactly..lol. Just gorgeous.
Thank you, what amazes me the most is that this Black Hole is 53 million light-years away from us!!! Like how is this even possible to take a picture... Our Universe is so big and amazing, and we are just focused on our small problems all the time... Anyway 😃 good luck with your Galaxy Pour, I would love to see your results
@@OlgaSoby Thanks for the reply. How would I let you see a painting? Would I go to Facebook group?
@@littlefeather9709 yes, you can share in our group, or send it to me directly on Facebook
Beautiful!! Can’t wait to go home and try that!!! 👍🏼❤️
Wow, absolutely stunning! Real Galaxy 🤩😍👍Amazing work
thank you! Jump on my spaceship 😆✨
@@OlgaSoby Lol, I'm on it 😁I'm in love with your art💖
That is amazing!! It LOOKS like a galaxy!! Wow!! And, Olga, it is SO helpful to see how you (and other artists) “fix” what doesn’t look quite right ... like those very large “stars.” Thank you!! 👌💖
Thank you so much!
Absolutely fantastic!
Stunning. Great job.
OMG SO BEAUTIFUL 🥺💜
Perfect! I want to do a galaxy 🌌 but I just can’t afford paint right now. I did get 5 medium size canvases at Ross though❤️
Amazing looking
Clever start SAM....Love the galaxy pour, beautiful xxx
Wow! I love this! ❤❤❤
Beautiful ! !
Incredible! Thank you
Beautiful!
I just found this from your recent compilation video and I am in absolute awe! Galaxy Pours are some of my favorite and you've definitely inspired me!
Absolutely beautiful!😍 I love how you spelled your name out and then used it as a backdrop to the void in space with filling it in with black. That was a nice touch. As always a beautiful art piece Sam..🥰🎨💕
Absolutely stunning outcome.! You did a beautiful job on this!
Very beautiful painting
That turned out really beautiful, and I really like the sort of Milky Way effect around the inner area. Love the logo too.
Love it! 💕
WOW this is awesome. I love it! So creative
This is absolutely beautiful! So mesmerizing. I must try this. I have all art materials and some canvas panels to practice with. Now I just need to go for it!
Thank you, have fun with it! But I just want to let you know that canvas panels have very high chances of warping while drying
WOW, Olga!!! This is fantastic!!! I'm so inspired! Thanks for sharing! 😉
Wonderful!
That's so neat:)
Ohhhh woooooow!
Super cool 🌛🌜
Super cool. Really love this one. 💙🦋
omg i'm in love
This is awesome! I love it!!😍🌌
Very cool!❤️
Espetacular👏👏👏👏👏
Really like the new style that your video producer is using! Silent with music is my favorite 😊🙏🏼💯
😲😲😲 so amazing, it looks just like a galaxy. So beautiful. I love how you added the star with the white and your palette knife 🤩💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫
Beautiful great video! 👍💙
Muito bonito este trabalho................!
An old toothbrush works great for sea spray, stars, etc. Love how this came out 😍🥰
O wow!!! That is so perfect, I love it so much wow ! Just wow great job! Lisa
lovvvvvvvvvvvve it
LOVE IT!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
I’ve been wanting to try this!!!!
💖✨🙏✨💖✨🙏✨💖✨🙏✨💖
thank you, Lynda! Looking forward to seeing yours!
I love this! It definitely makes me think of space and the Black Hole. I loved how you splattered the white & blue, great idea. I have a splatter tool that I use for Inks, so I can't wait to try this. Thank you again for an amazing video.
Thank you! Have fun with yours 😀
WOW!!!! Love it!!!
thank you!
I've used a toothbrush for spatter effects in the past, very stiff bristles can help. Very nice painting.
thank you, Chris!
Like to see how you would make large/medium soap bubble looking cells.
That's so cool ! Are your paints on the thinner side to do this? I'm definitely playing with this next time I paint ☺️ I've been playing with swipe paintings and been having a blast but I always bounce around trying different things ☺️🤪 I should try and stick with something for a minute to really learn 😄 but I'm having to much fun 🙈 Thank You for sharing !!
🤩🤩✨✨✨ gorgeous ! 👏👏👏 I have bought a funnel recently because my hubby does'nt want that I use the one in the kitchen 🤣🤣🤣
Wow looks great amazing. Little different format of a video for you but I liked it it was quick to the point and produced great results :-)
Try an old tooth brush for spattering the stars on. It works well for me.
👌🏼🖤
I noticed in your Amazon supply list a section for DIY skin jewelry and I was wondering if you have made (or could make) a video on making said jewelry? I kept several skins for this purpose but ended up getting rid of them for lack of jewelry supplies and space. It would be cool to see what you have made and the process of making them.
Beautiful galaxy by the way. It is neat seeing how you make stars. The other method I've used/seen is to tap the brush against the side of your hand over the painting, but I've never used a fan bush either, so it might not work the same.
Have a wonderful day!
KC goes to her website. It's an awesome website. She has so many articles and videos to learn from. She has a video on jewelry.
Thank you! And I don't have a video about jewelry, but I have an article with a step-by-step guide smartartmaterials.com/how-to-make-acrylic-skin-jewelry/
@@littlefeather9709 Oh sweet, thank you for the information. :)
You are Amazing 😃.. which paint to you use?
New subbie here. Thanks for all your time consuming experimentations and reviews on products. Much appreciated. Also really enjoyed watching your interview with Rinske Douna! One of my fav Fluid Artists.
Where do you order your gallon of Floetral from as I note you’re also in Europe and that volume is only sold in the States usually. Otherwise I normally buy the Owatrol brand.
Hope to hear from you...
Thanks Olga! 🙋♀️🙂
Very cool pour.... Try a toothbrush for the stars... It works...😎
👏👏👏❤
How do you deal with the drips off the side of the Canvas?? Just keep wiping them before they get hard or is there a better way an easier way
Thanks a lot ! Its very pleasing to see.🤩 can i ask you the quantity of painting and pouring or water did you use please?🌌🙏
Hi! I don't use this recipe anymore. You can learn more about my New & Improved recipe here: www.sobyartacademy.com/Secret-Recipe-For-Fluid-Art-Success-Online-Course
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I have a question! They say you can use the Tri Art liquid glass as resin but I couldn’t find any information on it! What is your thought on this? If it can be use how can it be use?
If you want a challenge, I dare you to use ORS olive oil glossing hair polish! I used that instead of spot on treadmill silicone and 🤯. I was not expecting the amount of cells and lacing! I don’t know how to tame it. Haha
I used primary yellow/blue,
fluorescent magenta,
and titanium white blickcrylics
a smidge of artist loft black
and decoart antique gold
all with floetrol and a dash of water and implemented a Dutch pour technique.
It’s a bit muddy in some parts, so I probably messed up my recipes, BUT the cells look like something out of the mind of Lisa Frank!
very interesting, I never used this particular product before! I'll check it out, thank you 😀👌
Smart Art Materials - Acrylic Pouring & Painting
Hello, again!
Update on this product!
Painting takes a little while longer to dry and it definitely matters that it be as level as possible (but that goes with out saying).
I tried chameleon cells with the ORS and I definitely don’t recommend it. It doesn’t create cells and keeps the moisture from evaporating. Had to use a blow dryer on both sides and it’s been three days!
I’m still impressed with the results from just regular mixing! Especially because my torch broke and the more ORS you mix in, the more cells. It’s just not a fit the chameleon technique. Happy painting!
Ps. I really enjoy you, your art, and how you produce your channel! I wish you all the best and look forward to more of your content!
Wonderful Olga! Can you please tell me what music this is? Thx! 🌹
Sure Lena, it's AstronautsJourney_by_MaikThomas downloaded from Artlist😘
Maybe I can try this one because I see you’re holding your finger at the end of the funnel 😀
I rather like this.
Would u mind listing the colors used in this painting? Ty
sure, I used Color Shift Aqua, Titanium White, Turquoise, Ultramarine, Alizarin Crimson
That is cool , yeah it came out really good.
It awesome Olga 🙂
That's your nick name , if it's ok with you...... Awesome Olga!!
thank you, Ben! And no, that is waaaay to cocky for me 😆
@@OlgaSoby
Why is that waaay to cocky for you...?

I wished u had left the bigger dots of white. That looked like planets.
What is the name of the tray you put your canvas on?
I show how I made mine here smartartmaterials.com/acrylic-pouring-drip-container-diy-project/
Where did you buy you hot air gun?
I got it on Amazon, it's a small butane torch amzn.to/38ImhKM
You get dislikes because a few people out there are stupid, what is there not to like? It is free , it is a media for learning, and what’s more they have the privilege of watching you create something beautiful. I am sorry there are people out there that are like this, but do it without leaving their names. Shame on them. I love your work😘😘💕💕🦋🦋🌷🌷
I saw that SAM in the black paint. My funnel pours are not that good boo.
Love this. I am not a fan of the "kiss" or the circles. I like the circle ones that messed up much better than the circles. This I love. Even though I don't like the kiss and the circle, I do appreciate very much your top notch videos and experimentation and your presentation. You so Rock.
Not a fan of a kiss? Oh, you just broke my heart! 😰 Just kidding, I always appreciate the honesty, and I agree with you that there is something amazingly beautiful in losing the control and breaking the "system" of rings. But I do love the expression of the kiss technique and contrast, it really designates with my spirit. That's is why I always go from one "camp" to another.
Hi how are you doing? I tried following you on Pinterest and you keep unfollowing me🤔
As if one person disliked. youtube,s funny
Oh 60 people liked, youtube algorithm,"must add dislike, got to balance universe"
