Yes, you can use it for plantation

U can put some seeds of fruits, plants, vegetables ( any one fm.them) in Ganesha's belly while making Ganesha idol ...in this way if u immerse the Ganesha idol in bucket u can put those lumps of clay in flower pots once idol is completely dissolved...Ganesha will bless u in form f plants
