Love this little interview, too short in my opinion. Anyway, is it just me as a musician being dumbfounded by "why is it important to write your own material?" Why would a musician, I say a MUSICIAN, like Bryan Adams (and his band) have someone else write his songs? (ok fine Jim Vallance because they had an arrangement since the beginning) Vallance and Adams are as close Elton and Bernie, IMO. Bryan Adams continues to rock, and sell out. Because he and his band are talented.

Those are all the groups that Bryan Adams had opened for on tours, up until this time in 1983. In fact, I saw him with Journey in '83!
