This was great singing of an all time favorite Christmas hymn. John really hit that high note splendidly. I loved it!
I've always loved this version of this beautiful carol.
That is NOT a tenor. See how he struggles and shouts the G? The normal tenor key here would have a Bb there. No idea why he markets himself as a tenor. I mean, he isn't classically trained, so he isn't a tenor or a baritone or anything--just a singer. But if he trained, I doubt he'd do so as a tenor.
My mum also sang this song at midnight mass.
