I ordered a bunch on black friday. I started ordering them because of you and all the ones I have played have been GREAT!! I take them with us to kids games and events and play with people in the stands.
ROVE is probably my favorite Button Shy game. The spatial puzzles in general tend to be my favorites, like River Wild and Food Chain Island. I really want to get a copy of Numbsters but it hasn't been available for a while. I hope for it every time they do a reprint campaign. Wildtails is super clever, but boy does it get hard. I am stuck on the last chapter.
Seasons of Rice is really fun and each game you get to play as a different ancestor (character) that incentivizes you to go for certain things. The theme really comes through in that there is a wet season and a dry season (in the game) for creating your rice paddies. Also, Ancient Realm is my favorite Button Shy game. It might melt your brain a little (in a good way) as resources are very tight and you end up having to sacrificing some bonuses in order to score others. I love the art on Death Valley. Looking forward to your Button Shy videos!
Oh my gosh! Ancient Realm is fantastic! If you dig old school Civilization games you will really dig that mini version. Also get Mysticana to the table as soon as possible. Cave of Djinns expansion of Mysticana is dangerously addictive. Enjoy!
I am a member of the Board Game of the Month Club and get most of their new games. Favorites this year are Nice Cuppa and Mysticana for me. Nice Cuppa is the most recent released Scott Almes Simply Solo game.
Some of my multiplayer favorites include: Skulls of Sedlec, Forest Sky Solo: Fishing Lessons, At the Helm and Food Chain Island. I actually don't enjoy Sprawlopolis very much, and while Circle the Wagon is a bit better, its not much and the theme is...unpleasant.
Give me all the Button Shy! It's so hard to pick a favorite. I'd have to say Skulls of Sedlec, Food Chain Island and Ugly Gryphon Inn are probably at the top of the list.
OK. Glad you did this video. However. Now I have to move my schedule to move this both up to an earlier time slot because you are going to increase the demand. Harumph. Nevertheless. Planning on bringing you Pennie’s at the meetup
Cow tiger Santa Claus is a road trip game. You draw one card from each three difficulties. First to find all three things on your road trip wins! We play it with our kids.
I have picky pixie and brought it to pax lol. Mabye I can get it played with you guys! I am going to swing by the button shy booth for sure. Thanks for making me aware :)
Track and Field is like a very simplified Hanimikoji style game. You play events in the center - depending on the event, you want to have an athlete with the highest, lowest or closest to 5 that you assign to that event. That’s the whole game. A very light deduction/number guessing game.
The Lighthouse Game, don't remember the exact name of it. If it is the game Im thinking of, it is one of the few of the Buttonshy games that I really want to check out. I haven't played any yet. But that one definitely piqued my interest. I can't wait to see a playthrough. That would be super kewl 😎 Edit: Isn't there an expansion for it as well?
Such a Button Shy fan! I played a lot over the Thanksgiving holiday and I agree with your suggestions. Numbsters and The Royal Limited are two of my favorites! I might try to snag a copy of Revolver Noir at Pax Unplugged though because I know you and Jeff both really enjoyed that one.
I was going to buy Circle The Wagons, but then I saw that they're putting out a big box (ha) with all the expansions in 2025, so I can hold out for that. I have a fistful of Button Shys already, but I've fallen behind in my plays; so far I've only played Numbsters, The Walking Dead: Surrounded, Sprawlopolis, Skulls of Sedlec, and maybe one more I'm forgetting. They've all been good fun, though. I'll keep an eye out for some of your recos this weekend!
Please do a pentaquark play through. Its very cool but impossible to win, I’d like to see if there is a strategy that makes it possible! So far have only played Caves of Djinn expansion with mysticana which is very fun, you should definitely try that one
@@FostertheMeeple I also backed A Nice Cuppa (and added The Royal Limited). And I pre-ordered the Circle the Wagons: Second Shot Alternative along with Super Slopes and Wonder Tales with Rumplestiltskin expansion)
Stew is an amazingly fun game. I got it when it was a PnP and it came with 3 different mini-expansions that make it even better. I’m not sure if Button Shy released it with the expansions or not??
Skulls of Sedlec is one of my favorite of ButtonShy's games, I've collected all the expansions and keep gifting it to people!

Love that!!! Thanks for sharing!

SpaceShipped is one of the best BS games, and now there's a fantasy version called FantasyForm, same system of rotating display.

Lovre my ever growing button shy collectoin. ROVE/Aqua ROVE, Unsurmountable, Tussie Mussie, Skulls of Sedlec (after 1 play) are some of my favs.
Love it!

I was shocked how fast that one sold out on the Black Friday buttonshy sale! I was able to get the other game I wanted to try: Count of Nine Estates
@@ButtonShy 😯
