The Rizzo show, ya love to see it. Everyone loves Rizzo, we even loved him in his worst major league season last year. It wasn't his fault, he had an undiagnosed injury, the only thing he did wrong was being so durable and consistent, he never realized he was a bit off. Anthony Rizzo is a great ballplayer who went through a lot when he was young, and it made him a great man. I'm proud he's a Yankee.

Why does he have to try to murder the ball and all it's grandchildren though? I mean, it's fun to watch, but a regular pop it over the wall on a hanging curve is still worth the same runs as a 120mph meteor into the second deck.

I never saw any hate for Clarke, I think the fans received him well. He didn't come in with a lot of hype, our pitching was a damn disaster last year, he was the most consistent one we had besides Cole. But now we're seeing what he really is, Schmidt is a bull, he is a hard nosed pitcher that never gets rattled or lets emotions get his wheels turned. That's never going away, those are qualities you can't teach. I love Schmidt. I want that Yankee logo to stay on him till he doesn't want it anymore.
