In case someone needs this, the order in which i learned the basics (literally the words taught to a child) is 1. Greetings (안녕, 감사합니다) 2. Sino korean and native numbers 3. Tittles, professions, and honorific terms (언니, 님, 선배) 4. Time, how to read the clock 5. Body parts (not heart, lungs, lol) 6. Colors and animals 7. Fruits, veggies (the basic ones) 8. Feelings, emotions, abstract nouns 9. Days of the week
@@frozenlitchy I am still learning it, although it took me 6 months to learn the basics as a senior year student. Hope that helps :)) Ps. Watch bts of difference groups or shows. I think that will help with pronunciation. I love watching MMMTV, BP house, Showtime with Jessi (my personal fav coz Jessi's pronunciation are so clear) and Moonnight studio!
I find it overwhelming to memorize Korean words because there's a lot of them. But I want to try and keep on memorizing to be able to make a progress. And your videos really helped me a lot, it motivates me too to keep on studying. ( + I really love you voice💜❤️)
This channel was exactly what I was searching for: a self taught learner of the korean language that manage to do that using free resources 👌🏽 Meus parabéns e muito obrigado! Saudações do Brasil!
im so sorry for answering so late ! my starting was having a book and writting voc and learning it same as with phrases and then i made more technics like from reas vids
Thanks for the tips!! My obsession with Kpop has made learning Korean one of my goals for the new year and I'm excited to learn new vocabulary. I love using Quizlet for my flashcards.👏🏾💕
ive been using news articles and magazines to help with korean vocab :) as i read more of them, even if I don't understand them, i realize that i can recognize certain words more accurately not just written in 한글 but also spoken on videos. good luck to everyone trying to learn the language! fighting !!!
I actually self learned Korean a few years ago too, but I have to focus on my school first more than learning another language. I feel kinda sad too cuz I really love learning Korean ㅠㅠㅠ
Thank you for updating with new tips. Looking forward for more contents from this channel. You motivate me to start studying Korean language seriously. You are so good. So really sound like a native Korean.
Hiiii! So I’ve been following your videos since you began, and I actually really like the pace and topics you’re addressing. I’m a mid-intermediate level learner (kinda hit the intermediate plateau I’d say 🥲) and I was just wondering if you might address sentence construction and how different grammar structures are used together and built upon? I’m not sure how to explain it, but I hope you get what I mean fjdjfjfjf. Like,,, one of the things I think people really struggle with is probably making sentences longer and putting more info into it? And the more grammar structures you learn, the more you can put in one sentence to convey your thoughts better, but I find that often one understands these long sentences when said to them, but in actually making them on your own, it’s a steep climb. So maybe suggestions on how to keep putting those grammar building blocks together? This turned out to be an essay, IM SORRY. ITS JUST SO DJFBDJDJF TO EXPLAIN CLEARLY 😭
Your voice is peaceful and cute at the same time, I recently begun learning Korean and my new goal is to speak it as well as you do. Love from Algeria❤.
Nice video once again! Could you do a video on how you use quizlet? I find all the options on how to practice with a (self-made) set quite overwhelming and I don't really know where to start
you really motivate me to learn more Korean (I am doing rn~!) and I rly wish I will be able to speak fluently like you one day🥺 thank you sm for this!!
Hii rhea, would you mind recommending some korean RUclips channels? I think watching RUclips videos in your target language is such a great way of learning but I've been struggling to find korean channels (that are not specifically aimed at korean learners). Your help would be very much appreciated 🙏🏻
Hello Rhea! I wanted to ask something. Could you please tell me if OneNote can be used in Windows 7 laptop or not? And I've seen that there is the application of one note in my laptop. But I have no idea on how to download the korean keyboard. I hope you could help me. Thank you so much, and great and useful video as always. Thank you
Rhea if you're finding hard to find a specific or a good topic for video can make on grammer, verbs and formatation of sentences speratly? I hope helps you...and it's my humble request to you ...💓☺
Hi! I love your videos so much. About the first method, could you explain more on how you note the words again and again, like is it in sentences or just the word itself? Thank you
I love your videos so much ❤ I saw in your video a book called "100 days korean vocab challenge", is this a good book to learn vocab? Would you recommend it to a beginner in korean like me?
Hey,, thank you for the helpful video. I am confused tho like if you find some words from kdramas, do you already know them before writing onto quiz let for the translation or do you translate every single word you find in a drama?
I dont write down every single word, thats one of my main tips. Only words that i think i will find some use in learning. Otherwise i end up spending too much time just making flashcards lol
i feel like im really good at remembering words and vocabulary and stuff like that in korean but i get really confused when it comes to grammer and i cant seem to find an app or game that teaches you that easily so i was wondering if anyone could recommend somthing like that to me

Hey, when you talked about finding vocabulary from dramas and stuff, how exactly do I do it? Since it's new vocabulary I wont of course know what the words mean so how am i suppose to know which ones i'm gonna use since it would be awful to translate every sentence? Also switching beetween korean and english subs would be really slow too so how did you start doing it?
