I think Julia was gorgeous but I just don’t see how Christian thought she was the hottest thing walking when he was literally screwing Kimber, Kit and Gina! He was very superficial so it’s kind of not realistic that he didn’t see a single flaw in Julia but saw every single flaw in kimber when she’s literally a flawless Barbie doll! Kit was drop dead gorgeous and so was Gina, I literally couldn’t keep my eyes off of them and I’m a straight woman lol

Man these characters are so tragic and broken, especially Christian, Julia, Matt, and Kimber. If you really think about it, Julia never took the time to grow as a person and actually LEARN who she is. She's ALWAYS been stuck in that phase of good girls liking assholes. She has lived her whole life, essentially being lost with no real identity, and if you ask me, that's a sad way to live your life. Say what you want about Christian, but he has ALWAYS known exactly who he is as a person, no doubt about it. Also, when Julia says, "In my head, you were beautiful, but now I see just how ugly you really are", that really ties into one of the show's themes of how in a twisted way, beauty IS skin deep, and that there are people whose true colors do reflect what we see of them on the outside. So yeah, that's why I like how Julia's journey on the show concluded, because now she can be at peace, and maybe have a real chance to find herself.
The most ridiculous part of this show to me is how rich and successful Christian was. He was a subpar surgeon at best. Sean even tells him that multiple times. Someone with his mediocre skills almost certainly would have killed/maimed a few patients during a delicate procedure, through negligence or incompetence. And both him and the practice would have been bankrupted by lawsuits. Wouldn't have had any money to buy Italian silk suits and Ferraris.
@@akshaynatu6568 when he’s interviewed by kit they say that he was experimenting on dead animals as a kid so he obviously knew what he was doing as far as surgery goes. I think his problem was his gpa and not putting in the work. Sean literally had to tutor him! I think it’s a writing flaw honestly because Sean is always calling him subpar but he was doing surgery before he even went to college.
Christian wasn't capable of staying faithful, Julia should've known that, I always thought these two getting together was stupid, I didn't feel sorry for her here at all.
The same can be said about, Kimber and Christian’s love hate relationship where Kimber should have known better before marrying Christian during the final season. As much as Christian loves, cares, and enjoys his sex life with Kimber; she still wasn’t enough for him which was why he slept with other women during their marriage. What’s sad was, Kimber had a feeling Rebecca and Christian had an affair, but Sean lied to protect her feelings and to hide the fact that Christian had gotten a vasectomy.
Julia always was a pathetic and weak woman, that at least try to maintain stable her family, of course not is a easy thing, but the failures also are shared with Sean, about her ''relationship'' with Christian, hiding from Sean, was a total error from the start.
Kinda sad they ended up like that. But it's like karma for them, for cheating on Sean for 20 years
