Hubs and I just made this today, he went a little off script and made 2 lbs of ground beef but we added extra sauce at the end and it's delicious!

We make this all the time if you haven’t tried it with Italian sausage I highly recommend it we use sweet but you could use hot if you want
A lot of times we can’t find ground Italian sausage so we will get the Brats sausage and cut the casing off and brake it up also chunks of pork steak work great as well

You could add the water to the pasta sauce jar to clean it out
