She’s looking awesome Phil!! I might be taking my Z28 out of hibernation this week depending on the weather. Can’t wait to try your Money Maker on her.
Great deep clean! I noticed you stopped ceramic coating your wheels... I think in another video u said the advantage was minimal. I still use Gyeon when I pull the summer wheels off and vice versa- I think it helps. At least I'll do this until I run out of the coating, then we'll see.
@@autofanaticcars Makes sense. Also wheels are labor intensive and u can go crazy with coating/ double-coating.... if u clean them weekly (gloss black lol) then I think that's enough.
I’m also curious about those Jack stands. Might you have a video of you putting the car on and off those Jack stands? I have a set of QuickJacks but I think I would like the set-up you have better. Thanks!!
Looks awesome. That's my favorite "Mustang" color, reminiscent of my 1987 LX 5.0 Dark Shadow Blue Metallic. I dropped the ball in 2020, local dealer had a GT350 in Kona blue, but I hesitated and missed out. Then I went and grabbed the QV. :-(
I did foam the entire underside with our wheel cleaning foam but the gopro died and did not film that portion of the video and finished the video using another camera.
I always top my undercarriages with a flushing, its a thick water based dressing that will condition the platics and also suspension components and it self levels to a matter rich black finish which makes the vehicle look so good
Just wondering at what mileage did you get rid of the cup 2 Michelins ? Did you also notice scratches on the back tops of the front calipers from stones getting stuck ? I’ve seen so many cars with it.
My cup2 were destroyed in 1700 miles I think the dealer that sold me the car had it outside in snow and winter before i got it the tires never felt right to me.
Always found that apc or a dedicated tire cleaner which i have both, dont do squat when trying to get the tires completely clean down to bare rubber. Good for maintenance, thats about it.
I haven't seen you mention this in your other detailing videos , but have you ever used deionized water tanks for washing your vehicles? A buddy of mine here in Phoenix does mobile detail and turned me on to them. No water spots , don't have to dry or anything. We have awful water here though, not sure how bad it is where you are.
These are Ford Performance springs i did these to help with ride quality on our busted roads years back our roads were in far better condition than today
Gotcha, how would you compare the BMR vs Ford performance? I recently installed the BMR Magneride springs and ride quality has been great! I Also live in Westchester but don’t drive it often.
@@autofanaticcars Interesting, it removes enough you can dry the few places that are left wet after a blower dry with a microfiber towel with no marring?
@@autofanaticcars Have you made a decision on what's next? I went 2019 gt3rs and am happy with it, but I also kept the 350 for date night etc. No way can i park the rs in a public lot.
not yet i am considering maybe a 718 Spyder for fun factor and drop top enjoyment or might go classic Porsche 930 or Ferrari or even a 1st gen NSX maybe. not many modern cars I actually like these days and I am looking for something a bit easier to drive with the bad roads we have.
I have an opportunity to buy a set of these CF wheels locally for $7k with fairly new tires. In your opinion are these worth the price? These wheels don’t look like they were ever driven. These will be going on a 20 HE model.
The carbon wheels are a pita to owning no clearance’s with calipers and most shops refuse to mount tires on them due to liability its such a waste and inconvenience for me. Never again
going to sell the 350R and feel putting back to stock might be best for any potential buyers but i honestly rather keep it as is we will see. time to move on soon to something new to play around with.
@@autofanaticcars Hope you do keep it. Honestly, I keep thinking about what I would swap mine for and can't think of anything. There is nothing like it. Even a GT3 I feel like isn't special enough to swap for. Well maybe a GT3 RS but that's about it. Know you have back issues so that makes sense on selling if the Recaro's make it worse.
yeah the roads are so rough i rarely use it anymore and it makes no sense keeping it in the garage i rather grab something else to play around with and enjoy for the time being we will see what i decide on very soon.
This is just something very special about this car - Hate to see it go. I don’t think there is any car that delivers more automotive pleasure per dollar. 🇺🇸
yeah these cars are amazing but I have been owning and driving the S550 platform for 9 consecutive years owning several Shelbys etc so it is time to move on and experience something new overall.
Great spring cleaning in that car wow. I hear u about ppl mowing their lawns. I had a neighbor once that used to constantly mow his lawn. And when he wasn’t then he was the one at front or on the right. That one thing don’t like about the summer. Now I live in a complex and same thing. I get screw anywhere I live. But I could never live in an HOA community. They r a pain in the arse. MOST of the time they r all bunch of Karen’s. In those communities u couldn’t even wash ur car once a week or leave one microfiber towel by the garage door. Right away u will get fined. My sister used to live in one of those I once she got fined cuz she left the trash can in the driveway for a day. Imagine the sound of the pressure washer plus all the soap. They will throw me out right away.
Because the front wheel arch area is open to the engine bay and would have been counter productive for the extent of how I did this detail by spraying and ruining the engine compartment as i did the chassis.
hey we all have our own standards nothing wrong with that but I suffer from high levels of OCD perfection in everything I do with my craft and profession.
I just wished people thought of what you do when they hear the words "full detail". To me people just seem to think it means wipe the dash with a wet chamois, and "scrub" the paint clean and throw some hand cheap wax on and doing what you do is just "unnecessary"....it's infuriating sometimes, I have more detailing equipment and chemicals personally than I have at work cause apparently I'm the dumb one for not using paint thinner to take of brake dust...anyways love the work that's a beautiful 350r
I’ll be honest phil
Your cars have to be the best used cars to buy on the planet !!! Hands down love it!!
yeah and I actually drive my cars! Im definitely the guy you want to buy a car from for sure, wish it was this easy on my end as a buyer.

That parts brush is perfect for the lip in between the tire and wheel.

Go for it 😎
DAMN. That odorless mineral spirit to the tires trick was amazing. Wayyyyy less fuss than doin the brush & gave incredible results.
Glad you tried it forget the brush method this works better and faster
Awesome!! Looks great Phil!! 😎👍🔥

Coatings help but most wheel finishes are terrible today on new cars versus a high end aftermarket wheel thats why I don’t bother anymore
@@autofanaticcars Makes sense. Also wheels are labor intensive and u can go crazy with coating/ double-coating.... if u clean them weekly (gloss black lol) then I think that's enough.
I’ve been using diluted P 21S as an engine cleaner because I’ve always wondered about the APC doing that to connectors…
Try our wheel cleaner its way more effective

Kona is a super nice color
That car looks fantastic

Those parts brush with the blue ring are amazing. They have a red ring one that is a little softer but not much. And Amazon i believe I got them.
Yeah there awesome we use them to parts clean engines and really nasty stuff
I didn't know about the mineral spirits tricks. Just for that, im subscribing lol. Will it compromise the integrity of the rubber though?
Zero issues and don’t forget tires are consumables and we don’t own them very long. Try it youll never go back to other ways cleaning tires
Looks soooo good, thank you sir 👍😁
I need those stands!! I’d love to be able to deep clean my GT like this.
Where did you get those jackstands?

New subscriber here. Very nice video. Did not see the high pressure spray tip nozzle in the description. Very Nice!
Thanks the iK Inox Sprayer i used for the engine bay you can search online to see who sells them

Where did you get those jack stands? Been trying to find a set like those for years lol
I got these in early 2020 before the world went upside down not sure if they are making these anymore but check their website
Why you don't foam underbody/undercarriage?
I did foam the entire underside with our wheel cleaning foam but the gopro died and did not film that portion of the video and finished the video using another camera.
@@autofanaticcars next video show us how you foam underbody/undercarriage. Usual/normal snow foam not recommended for underbody/undercarriage?

Mineral spirits wipe 👍

The browning of the tires is from antiozonant bloom.
No drove through lots puddles before i put car away months ago the rainbow effect is from a petroleum product
Phil, what do you like to use as an interior cleaner?
I dilute our 007 Ceramic Detailer to use on interior surfaces and use Sonax alcantara leather mousse when needed
Great video. Where did you get the jack stands?
Jackpoint Jack Stands look them up not sure there available they were mia last few years
Great video. Can you tell me more about the jackpoint jack stands?
Full video on the stands on this channel i posted in 2020 if you search
@@autofanaticcars which adapter are you using for the GT350R?
the one that slides into the pinch welds under the side skirt area.
