"Thanks for the ride lady". Still use that line to this day. Classic. The memories of being a kid watching this my my lil brother, both scared but we had each other. We loved every minute of it, and learned nvr pick up a hitchhiker.
almost the same except it was my cousin of the same age (3 months 5 days older lol) who lived 3 houses down, we were both only childs so we were like brothers.
What she finally caught onto, was the fact that, sooner or later, that Revenant was going to kill her... just as surely as she killed him! I wonder how they're getting along in the afterlife? Maybe they made friends with Beetlejuice, and decided to hang around with him for a few Centuries...you know, something to pass the time, and have some laughs along the way, or something!😀😀😀
Kids today won't appreciate the Picture and the making of these Great classic movies...This was a all time great...These were much better films for that had...🔥
So I saw this as a child looking over the back of the couch after I was supposed to be in bed, and I had nightmares the rest of my childhood!!! I'm watching the original IT reminiscing about old scary movies and I didn't know what this was from but I remember that line like it was yesterday!!! So I typed it in and BOOM!! Turns out the internet is useful after all
My stepfather and I incorporate this line into our everyday lives. Anytime we do each other a favor we'll say this in some fashion, depending on what the favor was. Lol
I think we all do I’m just wondering what kind of car she was driving 😂 She had a gun and shot him multiple times and ran him over! He was a zombie 🧟♂️ squished to at tree ! Wow What a night of the living dead 💀 on both parts.
I remember watching this scene w/ my mom & both of us DYIN! 🤣😂🤣 I mean, we were both CRYING TEARS it was SO funny! Still is 2 this day 3/5/21! 😂 I think I’m gonna call mom up tomorrow & say, “Thxs 4 the ride lady” 😂🤣 I KNOW that’ll make her day. 🤣 Thxs 4 sharing👌🏽
I’ll never forget spending the night at my friends house. Her mom and brother couldn’t wait for me to watch this show. I had a bowl of popcorn in my hand. On the show the raft, as soon as the blob came out the water, popcorn went everywhere. They thought it was so funny. Great times and wonderful memories!!
Was the lesson how a white woman used her vehicle to mangle to unrecognizable proportions a "scary black man" approaching her car on a dark lonely road? Seems to pander to me...til the plot twist at the end... He wins...as much as a dead guy can anyway.
I watched this as a child and just adored that man... After doing research on the origin of the story its actually deep and dark based on events In Lansing...
When he comes up on the hood of her car.... he's like the spider you never could quite get rid of (and, yes, I still have nightmares over this... thank you, Stephen King... ya Butthole.).
I just turned 47 january 17th of this month. Born in 1973, I was an 80's kid and i grew up watching the best movies,TV shows, Cartoons, commercials, music and played with the best toys like The transformers for example. The creepshow movies, The Twilight zone ( 1985 version ) Tales from the dark side, The outer limits, Chiller, Monsters and Amazing stories were just some of my favorite TV shows. This episode was more funny than scary to me. But it was alright. I prefer the first creepshow to part 2 and don't even get me started on how creepshow 3 that came out...i want to say 2004? it was horrible ( and i don't mean that in a good way ) But yeah, the 80's just were the best time to have been a kid. If i could choose to exchange my childhood for this generation in order to become a kid again, i would turn it down, flat!
Many decades ago someone in a passing conversation mentioned this "Thanks for the Ride Lady" in some movie. It sounded comical, but that quote registered with me since then. Could not remember the movie, then watched Creepshow 2 after missing it in theatres 34 year ago. Now I know.
I've never had a female Uber driver out of about 100 uber rides, but ironically, a female Uber driver hit me with her car and ran me over. She tried to speed away, and I quickly remembered most of her license plate. She then drove back, realizing her path was being tracked by GPS. I had the opportunity to say "Thanks for the ride, lady! Thanks for the ride!" But I guess I was too busy screaming and asking why the ambulance was taking so long.
Bruh I thought this whole scene was funny ass hell it had me crying laughing!!!! It wasn’t scary to me cause she had done killed him about 15 hundred times and then when he kept saying thanks for the ride lady!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh and when she said “oh god who the hell is he” weak!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is a pretty great movie. I agree. But I have a question. At the 1:47 mark, look up at the left of back window, what is or who is the guy with the hat? Is it supposed to be part of the movie? I've watched it on my phone a can barely see it, but watching on my smart tv I can see a man's face wearing one of those golf ing hats pretty clearly. Strange to say the least
"YOU KILLED ME!!!" lol, at that point I would have hit the breaks then stopped the front tire on his chest, got out knelt beside him and said... "I'm sorry it was an accident, are you going to leave me alone now?"
I feel crazy cause when I was a kid this terrified me, and now this line just popped into my head and so I watched the clip. And I'm in tears laughing.😂🤣First her calling herself a crazy b**ch for seeing things after killing this man in a hit and run, then the end, her face when she was ramming him into the tree... Karma came for her though for the hit and run. But I can't believe this scared me as a kid 😂
😂😂😂😂 omg to think I used to be afraid of this scene and now at 46 it looks so fake hahaha thanks for the ride lady. I wonder who she had insurance with because her OFF ROAD driving was ON POINT lol. He was so annoying she needed some sage or garlic for his uggggllliiieeee butttt lol
"Thanks for the ride lady". Still use that line to this day. Classic. The memories of being a kid watching this my my lil brother, both scared but we had each other. We loved every minute of it, and learned nvr pick up a hitchhiker.
Drpotwhite Dougherty I think the lesson to be had here is never kill an innocent hitchhiker.... aka hit and run=zero fun
Yeeeessssss good stufff
It wasn't about picking up a hitchhiker. It was if u hit someone u report it and don't run off lol
Aurea lol same I say it all the time 🤣
almost the same except it was my cousin of the same age (3 months 5 days older lol)
who lived 3 houses down, we were both only childs so we were like brothers.
poor guy, all he wanted from her was a " you're welcome"
I know right. Maybe he would have stopped attacking her if she did! Lol
Like Terry in Waynes World "I Luv You Man"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Easily one of the best moments from any anthology movie in the history of cinema. ' Thanks for the upload lady'💋✌️😅
This is the most extreme anti-smoking ad I've ever seen.
I almost choked on my water
My dad farted out a piece of meat
Great Scene!.....all 5 Pixels of it! ...... jesus....
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This movie came out in like 82-83
😂😂😂😂😂😂
She really lost it when that dead hitchhiker showed her sign "You Killed Me!!!"
What she finally caught onto, was the fact that, sooner or later, that Revenant was going to kill her... just as surely as she killed him! I wonder how they're getting along in the afterlife? Maybe they made friends with Beetlejuice, and decided to hang around with him for a few Centuries...you know, something to pass the time, and have some laughs along the way, or something!😀😀😀
this scared me so much as a kid.
!!! This still scares me, as an adult.
Lord speXt omg throw back
Lord speXt For me all the creepshows were hilarious.
Really? I laughed my ass off watching this as a kid.

My head started hurting because of the quality.
Saw this when I was a kid. Not a day goes by without "Thanks for the ride lady" thoughts...
Kids today won't appreciate the Picture and the making of these Great classic movies...This was a all time great...These were much better films for that had...🔥
Saw this as a kid and it still haunts me to this day. I'm 39 now. Lol
Me too but I use to laugh for years saying this and I'm 39. Well next week
Thanks for the ride lady
Just make sure you don't hit n run a homeless guy out in the middle of nowhere at night and you'll be fine. 🙂
This is the best segment of creepshow 2
So I saw this as a child looking over the back of the couch after I was supposed to be in bed, and I had nightmares the rest of my childhood!!! It's been over 30 years and I still say Thanks for the ride lady, when I get out of my friend's, male or female, car.
This was my favorite scene, i still love it now as i did then, it was scary but yet comedic...i still quote 'thankz for the ride lady' and laugh...
I think we all do I’m just wondering what kind of car she was driving 😂 She had a gun and shot him multiple times and ran him over! He was a zombie 🧟♂️ squished to at tree ! Wow What a night of the living dead 💀 on both parts.

Probably the most passive aggressive hitchhiker to date.
lol this was my favorite one. There was a lesson in this.
Lesson was, never pick up hitchhikers no matter what teh fuk iz gooin ohn
Was the lesson how a white woman used her vehicle to mangle to unrecognizable proportions a "scary black man" approaching her car on a dark lonely road? Seems to pander to me...til the plot twist at the end... He wins...as much as a dead guy can anyway.
The lesson is not to hit & run.
The lesson is. Smoking is bad. And can ruin your life
Cheaters never prosper
I watched this as a child and just adored that man... After doing research on the origin of the story its actually deep and dark based on events In Lansing...

Danm what stunt performers went though in the 80's

Thinks for the ride lady😂😂😂😂😂
Maybe if she would have said “You’re welcome “ all of that would have be avoided lol lol 49 and I’m still enjoying it. Lol
