The Jungle robe is truly one of a kind, it was different than any of the others that flair wore, and my guess long term will be the most valuable. They did little Naitch dirty.

In this case it's really not specifically "the classic stuff" it's flair. I get what you meant and where you were going but no one on the show so far has be what Flair is. The André episode has been the closest but more people are alive now who know who and what Flair was over André. If the André episode came out 10 years ago, it's be a different story.

Discussing the problems with the Starrcade 83 main event. There was one problem. The referee. Gene not only messed up the finish, but he was constantly in the way, so their timing got messed up because they had to keep looking over their shoulders to where Gene was.. Harley and Ric had matches on TV leading up to this that were better and much more fluid and the only two differences are the cage (which should not have been a problem for these two) and the Ref.

It was a really good episode with Flair, but that lost bank bag story has to be Tully. Tully would be holding that bank bag while he was doing promos in Mid-Atlantic while he was NWA TV Champion. Tully had the money and all the jewelry back in 1984, I bet it he's the one who lost it.

I'm surprised that Jim didn't know hip hop embraced Flair, he replaced Trump in a lot of ways as the status symbol of opulence. Add in the strut and the wooo to copy next thing you know he's an icon all over again

They didn't replace Trump, they were both used side by side long before Trump ran for president. It's based off location. Southern rap used Ric Flair because he's damn near synonymous with the south due to him primarily working there. Trump was the choice for NY and west coast rappers. They both eventually bled over in to all regions of rap.

Thats why i love when a new second or third generation wrestler is brought to the business been endorsed by a legend or whoever that has a established name. I think WWE is building the museum/HOF at NBCUNIVERSAL's EPIC UNIVERSE theme park which won't be open and operational anytime before 2023.

There's no WWE Hall of Fame or museum, nor will there ever be. If WWE was truly interested, this would have been done ages ago. WWE has plenty of gimmicks to put in without any so-called "reality" show. This is just an excuse for WWE to own as much history as they possibly can.
Putting it on TV under the guise of "we're building a museum" with no location, no ground breaking, no plan, no announcement (press release or otherwise) is an excuse to coax people out of their property by appealing to the desire to be on TV. It's a win-win for WWE. They get the items and can underwrite the expense.
It's why WWE wants film so bad. Then they control the narrative that RASSLIN' was never popular and only appealed to 20 or 30 drunk hillbillies in a smoke-filled bar, but Vince McMahon saw an opening, told everyone this is fake and it instantly blew up to the point that in 1987, 200 million screaming fans filled the Silverdome in Michigan to watch Hulk Hogan hand Andre the Giant his first loss of any kind after slamming the massive 9 foot tall, 1,000 pound giant over his head, in Andre's final match before he died, passing the torch to The Immortal One, forever cementing him as The Greatest Sports-Entertainer in History of All-Time.
