  • My review of the Yonex Nanoflare 1000Z badminton racket.
    This is a brand new, top-of-the-range racket and will therefore attract a lot of attention. The big question is how does it play? How does it feel compared to other rackets in the Yonex range? In this video I answer those questions detailing my experience of the racket so far.

    Can't wait for the 1000game review. I saw some comments on forums "NF700 with lower price", "High End Killer", "Low end feeling when you hit the shuttlecock.", "If looking for a mid-flex shaft, an aero frame, a 1000z outfit, go for the PLAY." Thank you for reviewing not only the flagship model.

    Your review was really well done👍 I instantly bought the 1000z after read your review on your website. I've been trying out so many yonex rackets since the z-speed was no longer available. Among the those rackets I've tried, the 1000z ranks as one of the best for sure.

    Hi Paul, i am currently using Arcsaber 11 pro, the control aspect is all good, but there is a lack of repulsive power.... will it be a wise decision to switch to nanoflare 1000z.? considering the technical adjustments due to compact head, stiffer shaft, faster swing speed etc. Also, i don't want to loose a whole lot of control in my shots. Basically i want to know if i switched to nanoflare, would i be getting more than i would be loosing or not, thanks in advance. bye

      @@TheBadmintonCoach Thanks for replying. I'm surprised a head heavy racquet would be the closest comparison! It's also supposedly medium flex? Would any of the new Nanoflares compare e.g. 800pro? What makes the 1000z so different? Cheers!

      @@Hocko22 I have restrung many 900’s and played with them. The feel on the head is closest to Astrox 77 pro
      1000z is an aerodynamic frame with a lot more mass behind the shuttle. It feels heavy and won’t manoeuvre like the 900 did which is why I discounted that racket. 800 is very nice being lighter than 1000z

    • @TheBadmintonCoach
      @TheBadmintonCoach  11 месяцев назад

      Mine is definitely real! I’d be surprised to see such a wide difference in balance but that could legitimately be the spread between 3U and 4U. There won’t be additional weight in the head, so it’s more likely to be in the handle which will change balance point

      @@TheBadmintonCoach The Game versions of yonex models are pretty forgiving.
      In our case we combine the "slow shuttle problem " with poor technique so it is stressing to play some shots like backhand to the backline. Gestures end up forced increasing risk of injury.
