we are experiencing an early spring, so it would be great for boating, but we are in Covid Lockdown accross the whole country, your only allowed out to get essential supplies.
I didn't find it, I went in a bit early I think, and it looks scary going in from the top because you can't see if there's a way around the fence and if there are any wires.
@@PaulMcBreen I see I see , so is it like a wee channel that links the Hopkins across into the dobson but slightly upstream from the dobson and hopkins confluence ?
@@PaulMcBreen that braid starts in the dobson and exits in the dobson. I was on the otago JBNZ trip and I went up that skinny braid by accident/luck another four or so boats followed me in. I nearly crapped myself when that deer fence loomed up thankfully the wire was long gone. A couple from wanaka in a big green keelow craft were right behind me I was impressed with their driving big boat vs small stream
The best video, beautiful scenery and good piloting
Enjoyed that was great with voice over.. Nice work... 👍
Great adventure. Commentary was great
Like the commentary, definitely an improvement. I look forward to more.
Looks like fun
It sure was, I love getting way up the backcountry rivers
Beautiful place love it.
Great video.. and yep.. the commentary adds a lot.
Can't wait for more! I'm guessing it's winter there now and it's too cold to boat?
