Thank you for another great video. The one thing that used to trip me up was when using the bridge, you have to configure the bridge connection (third tab down) BEFORE you can select it in the MIDI tab (first tab).
Glad it worked! Ya TouchOSC can handle sending to 5 different connections per object in a template and Reaper should be able to handle tons of incoming messages. Glad it worked out!
Hi Tim, Thanks for your video. Did you ever try it the other way around? I mean 1 pc (with reaper) and 2 ipads controlling via the same template e.g. the synth params in reaper? I would like to set this up in order to have a bigger space (real estate) to make controles a little bigger? I'm only starting to work on this idea but any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for making these videos. I'm considering getting TouchOSC, but I'm curious about something I can't seem to find. Assuming that I have an interface/cable that works with my controller and target device, does TouchOSC have an option for MIDI thru, or repeating incoming messages? I know my interface can see incoming CC, but I don't have software that sends it to MIDI output.
@@TimCorpus I want to use the LFO, but I also have other controllers that I'll still be using. I don't currently have a MIDI merge device, and my current switcher doesn't have MIDI thru, so it would ha e to be the first MIDI input.

Ya, it's certainly a confusing system, especially because computers don't like MIDI messages out of the box from an iPad. Glad it works for you now!
Thanks for the tip
Hi again Tim. Sorry to have bothered you with my question. I already made it work. No problem at all. Thanks to your video!

16:14 "allow binding messages to REAPER actions and FX learn"
-> that might be very important :)

Is there a reason you would want to go through touch osc? And not just use touch osc as a control surface?
