it sounds like theres multiple random computer sounds as instruments (aka its portal ost) so really just get a bunch of computer sounds, and cut and modify and tune them to suit as instruments.. kinda then use those "instruments" to make music.. i mean i guess you have to learn how to make music first but still
Did anyone else see the little bursts of fire you can hear in the first bit of the song while playing? I saw the small flames in the distance but couldn't tell why they were there. I don't think it had any relevance to the mantis civilization as they had just discovered their energy source, no reason for their to be random fires starting from that. Would it have been a result of the housewares ambush planning? This doesn't make much sense to me. Is it just no reason because Aperture fire just to justify the flare sounds in the OST? That's the only justification I can think up, but if you have other ideas, fire away.
going into noclip, i see they are coming out of the pipes. i think because of apertures business model (cheap but also spend a lot of money and go bankrupt inventing everything), that the pipes are broken and are spewing out flames.
@@cooper54729 ah, thanks for your investigation! Given they send bullets around in pneumatic tubes, I suppose it’s not a far stretch by any means to expect them to route flammable fluids/gasses through unsafe pipes. Thanks!
0:57 You Can't Escape You Know (Portal 1)

This song reminded me a hell of a lot of Autechre's early work. Check that out.

Always thought it was a creative choice, to make meeting Cave seem more ominous and threating.
Damn Grady is spitting facts bro💀💀💀

The very beginning might be referencing that one fire scene at the end of portal 1
