    My ProMix is full of fungus gnats. Ugh. So I've poured boiling water over the next batch before I use it. I've been told I can use my steamer and steam it. That might be a better way to go. The building renovation is fabulous. I enjoyed the tour immensely!

    Good for you, I’m excited to see what I can learn from you. I’m just a home gardener and this is my second year for seed starting and I’m hooked! Who knew! Wish I’d have learned this 20 years ago.

      @ thank you, I have a garden, and the sweetest potting shed, but I had no idea I could draw so much enjoyment and comfort from growing seeds! I am 65. I do know Utube gardening has brought me a lot of enjoyment. Thank you for your channel. Someday maybe I’ll find your shop!

    I was trying to find the S hooks you use.. couldn’t locate in the description. I’ve been using paper clips but don’t trust them for strength!

    I do not miss any of your Videos! I have a question concerning the use of lights. Per your advise I have purchased a number of shop lights at 5500 Lumens. As your seedlings grow how many inches do you keep as a distance between the lights and the plants. Right now my plants have grown and they are starting to crowd the lights. Can you advise me as to what distance between my lights and the plants itself. Thank you for all of your help.

    • @SunshineFlora
      @SunshineFlora  7 дней назад

      Definitely keep soace between the light and plants. Your lights are strong enough that you don’t need to keep them Super closer. I would keep 3-5 space maybe? I’ve never really measured what I have 😊 I adjust my chains to raise the lights as the plants grow

    When Using the 4500+ lumen LED lights, do you still need to keep light close to the seedlings so they don’t stretch, or is the output strong enough to keep at one height?

    • @SunshineFlora
      @SunshineFlora  8 дней назад

      I still move them up and down

    Lumens…if you have two 4000 lumen fixtures per shelf, does that combine to be 8000 or would it still be 4000? Something I’ve always wondered.
