Storm surge and heavy rains cause flooding and forces the city to close most of the roads and all of the parks in the North Beach area of the city a popular entertainment area.
Thank you for posting this.
In North Beach there are real low lying areas where construction should have never been approved because they were permanently wet or humid. Owners have no right to complain.
In Houston , too.
I’m out on Padre Island and we have about 6 inches until the water comes over the bulkhead. I’ve lived out here eight years. I’ve never seen it. Come up over the bulkhead on this location
We stayed at the hotel ( Hilton doubletree) next to the teal building 2 weeks ago … 2:43 time stamp.. before we arrived a small storm came through.. when we got to the hotel the parking lot was flooding.. as well as the road between the hotel and the shop in the teal building… surprised the lobby of the hotel has not flooded this time around.
Nothing new for Corpus Christi...thanks for the images to confirm what we are being told.
I can see my aunt's condo.....
Just a natural occurrence during a storm. Stay safe out there. Laugh at those trying to get insurance money on their cars they purposely left by the water.
We rent a condo some times about 5 miles south of this area, the sea wall there is pretty high and should be OK, but I bet there's no one driving on the beach..
Nothing unusual. I lived there 2 years. Bridgeport Avenue always flooded.
They started hurricane season before we were out of tornadoes?
Rip Johnny canales
Can't forget about Johnny land.
GREAT FOOTAGE 👍
Any word the conditions in South Padre Island I have family there now and I asked them to take 281 back to San Antonio instead of hwy 77 to corpus. Dallas bound.
Anyone know about north padre corpus? I'm assuming the dunes blocked most of this from hitting restaurants?
Yep that’s what happens every few years or so
What's the situation with the motels at North Beach?
This is absolutely terrifying! The streets in Corpus have gotten wet??? Hope the poor people there have plenty of dry socks!!!
How the hell do you know the people are poor? There are plenty of rich people in Texas.I can't believe you would just sit here and assume.

That's not what OP meant
@@KennethJones-to1ig And I can't believe some people can't recognize obvious sarcasm when they see it. 🙂
⛈️
When will Ted be there?
Now is a good time to buy a boat.
I moved to Houston for my job. With the work complete I was strongly thinking about returning. I hate Houston. Your video changed my mind. Lived in C.C. most of my adult life.
This can happen anywhere near an area with a river or ocean! Better to live around the mountains ⛰
Normal North Beach flooding! Lived there 10yrs...Nothing New!
😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
I can see my airplane
🚬😁🍹
Zzzzzzzz
Not for broadcast as they literally broadcast it. I hope they get sued
RUclips doesn't count.
@Kenneth Jones - duh. "Not for broadcast" by MSM TV stations like ABC, CBS, NBC - the TV stations hire staff to film for them - they cannot "pirate" and illegally use the privately owned LSM live stream media storm chasers video footage. Storm chasers post on you tube - they don't give their hard earned storm videos to TV network stations.
"Nope, no global warming here"
Stupid comment cultist
