I am very disappointed they let Hanley go he should really be on the pitch it's why defending from set pieces ain't been upto par this season, poor decision in my eyes and even more insulting was doing it a couple games away from 200. Least I have a few shirts with Hanley on the back, well over the last few years only get Hanley, Kenny, onel and nunez, lungi always best getting shirts of players who love the club and don't want to jump to somewhere else at the 1st opportunity. I think safest bet for a shirt for this season was fisher he's lively you know he's one that could easily play anywhere they want him to with some head down focus and training and coming from Bromley he's a breath of fresh air old style of player not big in size but will go in for any tackle seems fearless, isn't shy to take the ball of people anyway he can get it lol, I think he will definitely be happy here for years ;) just like big grant Hanley was happy for many years. Obviously no one can be as happy here as onel ;)
Thanks for giving your all for our football club, good luck for the future Grant. I'll never forget the long ball you chased down at carrow Road against Ipswich to cross for the late equaliser!
What a really good interview. I wasn't expecting it to be that emotional. He's been a big player for this club and never gave less than 100 per cent. A model professional who deserves to be properly recognised for his efforts. I hope it goes well for him at Birmingham.
Such a shame the way his time came to an end but all eras do eventually. We wish him well in his next chapter and look back with fondness on the high times and through fingers at the lows. Thanks for your service, big man, you're always welcome back in whatever capacity...🔰💪
Top man you can hear it in his voice how much the club and the area means to him hope he is successful and he will maybe come back to the club in another role in the future 👏👏👏💪
Farewell Grant Hanley a great servant to Norwich City Football Club very well liked and respected wishing you all the very best for your future career Grant 💛💚💛💚💛💚💛
I was concerned that he'd be leaving, and another of those stories of not getting a chance to say goodbye. So, it's great to see this interview, and to appreciate Grant's appreciation of the club and fans. Good luck GH! It's been emotional 💛💚
Saw him and Kenny at winter wonderland with their families after Christmas, seem like such lovely family men. All the best grant, will be rooting for you no matter what or where you go
Norwich legend. Thanks so much for all the fantastic memories you and the team have left behind. You were one of the best defenders I've seen at Carrow Road and I'd like to thank you for staying with us through the ups and downs. Good luck with your future ventures. OTBC. 😢
Like he said past few years for him have been tough, but he kept his head down and continuted to work hard for the team on and off the pitch. Will be a big miss i'm sure in the dressing room but its time for others to step up! Thanks Big Man!
Thank you Grant and I hope you are able to come back when your playing days are over to use your experience and knowledge to help future Norwich players do as well as you did. Go well. See you again soon.
Good to see a good video from the club and Grant getting chance to say farewell as he said lots highs and lows but boy them highs were magnificent thank you for leadership on and off the pitch true model professional
Such a great leader, captain and person. Seen as a Hardiman but showing his emotional side in this interview. Can only wish Grant all the best for his next chapter and “thank you” for the good times and memories 💛💚💛💚 Always welcome back
Any youth player coming through only had to observe this guy to find out how to be a top professional and how to behave. Its a shame that some recent departures did not take the lesson, as others have already said this is how you leave a club, with class and dignety!! He's been an absolute rock at the back and I'm sure there will be a Grant Hanley size hole in the changing room. All the very best to you. OTBC 👍
A true leader and master of the dark arts of winning free kicks! You could tell he was visibly upset to be leaving the club and it shows what a unique and great place it is to be. Good luck Grant.
He seems very emotional and obviously loves the club and the city. Thank you Grant, you have played your heart out for us and good luck to you and your family in the future💛💚
Best of luck big man, you and the lads served up some great times for us that we'll never forget. Was not expecting to see him so emotional about leaving but it's clear watching this what the club means to him and his family, and I guess that's all you can ask for when it's time to walk out. Hopefully he skelps Borja's lug for the 'Harry' jibes on his way out, though. ;)
Thank you Grant for the memories Ive shared with you from my place in the Barclay. Ive loved watching you wipe out an opposing player, fairly. Then moments later win a foul to get out of a sticky situation. The chase down and perfect cross for Timm to score THAT goal and spark crazy celebrations. I think some fans dont realise how fast you are on your feet but whenever your team mates are asked who is the quickest runner , they always say" Grant". Captain of the team that won promotion twice. Standing on the Double Decker bus roof holding the trophy up high and during the pandemic, you called my sister in law on the telephone to see how she was doing and listened to her moaning about the form of the team because at first she didn't realise it was you she was taking with ! Sorry it didn't work out for you with the new coach but you will always be remembered as a Canary hero. Best of luck at Brum and enjoy your remaining career.
Great servant of our club,a leader on the pitch and so professional on and off the pitch,a real Scottish warrior and always will have yellow and green in his blood, all the best grant Hanley, top man 💛💚🇬🇫🌟🏴🏴🇬🇧
Great club captain and player. I always sought you out for a photo/ autograph and you always obliged. Miss seeing you at carrow road and on our away travels. Good luck with rest of your career . Once a yellow always a yellow ❤
Class guy and great servant to the club.....should have had more playing time this season.....will be sadly missed...total comittment ....wish you all the best for the future...top man
Wishing him all the very best at Brum. A great leader and role model for our club who was part of some of the best years to be a fan. Thanks big man ITBC
You will be sorely missed and fondly remembered at our club, a true servant off and on the pitch, a colossus that gave everything for the shirt. After a clearly difficult last 2 years, I wish you nothing but success in your next chapter, but more importantly, enjoyment and happiness for you and your family. Thanks for the memories big man you’ll always have a home at carrow road 👊 OTBC
To be honest…I wouldn’t mind if Hanley got a 2 year contract extension since that would mean he’d get to be with us for 10 years which I don’t think anyone has stayed with us that long since hoolahan. Thank you for everything Hanley, we’re going to miss you and good luck in the future.
Now that’s how you leave a club. Class. Other players take note!
Thanks for everything Grant, all the best!
All the best Heeed love you ❤

What a proper gentleman Grant is, I wish him & his family nothing but happiness 💛💚
There arent many PROs like Hanley left in the game. Top bloke and sorry to see it come to an end
He actually looked emotional there, great servant to the club, he’s gonna be missed on and off the pitch here at city.

Thanks to a true honest loyal professional. Obvious from the interview a great person . Wish he and his family all the best in the future.
