You are better than the Icelandic tourist websites. Someone from the government should pay you for good public service.

You did great Ivar. It was not too long at all. Thank for taking the time to edit this video.

Actually this is the perfect length I expect from a video of yours, great work in this one!

Helpful, especially regarding the Icelandic seasons. We are coming at beginning and end of October, so will be straddling winter, so will adjust my packing accordingly.

Thank you Ivar, that was excellent and very entertaining! I came to your beautiful country last November for four days. It wasn’t long enough and I want to come back. I agree about the layer thing, that’s really important. I was really pleased I had invested in merino wool socks, they are great. I hope it’s not too long before I am back in Iceland, the most wonderful country and truly lovely people. Your English is perfect. 😊

Having been to Iceland now for all seasons (ish), I agree with everything you described. Love Icewear, too. I have that same sweater but in yellow! But my main reason for going to Icewear is to see if Baktus, the cat, is there. But I agree the price is reasonable and they have a good selection. I do have two handmade lopapeysas, which I love, but they are really way too thick for any time but during winter, in my opinion. Thanks for another great video! Oh, and Icewear needs to sponsor you after all that free advertising!

I was in Iceland this year from late May to mid June. Mostly in Reykjavik and Akureyri, and I experienced, rain, snow, hail, extreme winds, and also managed to get a sunburn for the second summer in a row there. You never really know what you're going to get, and that's the fun part.

Your seasons and the idea of having the weather from each happening in the same day are very similar to Scotland: very short summers and long winters.
