For Lightburn enthusiasts: Currently the WeCreat Vision allows for gcode export from Lightburn and import into their CreatIt software. They DO have FULL support for Lightburn in the works and it's coming soon!

Mouth laser sounds are definitely bonus content!
Double bonus for the door hanger.
Thanks for reviewing the new laser. I'm looking to upgrade to a fully enclosed unit and have considered this. The camera is a sweet feature I would love to have.

Cameras are certainly useful! I'm a little more old school in that I like to position things differently based on the laser head's position, but that involves making a jig and always lining it up perfectly. I have to do this for coasters and making batches of them.

I got one in February and so far we love it. I hope you do experiment more with the rotary and demonstrate a full tumbler wrap.

First of all…I really hope your dad is doing good 🙏. Thank you for all you do with putting these videos out there. I have learned a lot from you. Can I please make a request? I just bought the Wecreat and I really want to laser cut acrylic templates for my bag patterns and also my bag tags. I am having issues learning this machine. There are tons of tutorials on laser cutting glass and wood, but nothing really on acrylic templates and bag tags (metal or acrylic) for bag makers. I love your teaching style and I know if you did a video on this, I would learn from it. Thanks in advance! Wishing you and your family the best!!

I'm afraid you cannot cut clear acrylic with a diode laser, which is what the WeCreat is. The best you could do is maybe cut black acrylic. You also won't be able to make metal or acrylic tags for bags. The metal wouldn't be something you could cut, but you could probably engrave stainless steel. Acrylic, again, nothing clear, only solid colors like black.
Laser engraving and cutting is a whole different thing. Each type of laser is different and used on different materials and material thicknesses. I do have a video that covers this if you want to learn more!

Do you find the Fume Extractor works well? I've heard from other owners that it was a waste of money.

I do, but I don’t cut wood often. Wood would be the biggest offender for smoke and fumes. Usually I’m cutting fabric and it’s sufficient.
