These Clippers, built from 41-47 were beautifully designed. A classic, milestone design. Some Packard enthusiasts may look down on them because of their later designation as an entry level Packard, and finally as a separate brand. But, the design was so beautifully executed that Rolls Royce later based their cars design on this very look in the mid 50's into the 60's.
My parents had a friend who had a '47 two door Clipper. Beautiful blue.i was only 3 or 4 but I remember that car like it was yesterday. Always been my favorite style.

Pretty car. Parts are the reason it’s so reasonable.
Nothing wears out last longer than you will.
That car needs an overdrive. I have one for it, rebuilt. Made for the 6 cyl. 110. Solenoid actuated. Hard to find.
This is a handsome car with a clean engine/bay.
I'll consider it a real gold mine in my view....owned Packards like them.
Worth every nickel. Prime Mover I may purchase it. Top shelf A caliber Car.
One word.... Beautiful
I'm the same age as this Packard and it's in better shape than I am

Great video!
I see this is a 46. Which manufacturer was first to the market after the war? Were there any 45 models?

Besides the wipers, it appears the fuel gauge doesn't work either.
