I know you poured the excess chocolate on the paper because you don't want any impurities in the original mix but my question is this: What would be done to the leftover chocolate that isn't returned to the bowl? Do you eat it or find another recipe for it? For an ordinary viewer like myself, I'd like to find out because these items are precious commodities to me and I'd like to know what becomes of it.

simply strain it.
you can use it again. if it gets hard simply banie marie it or microwave around 10 sec or more
