Once you kill someone outside of self defense, you make them the innocent victim. But I understand your feelings. I also don’t get why people stay with cheaters. Like the second guy not caring? But the fact that he beat the child so severely,is even more concerning. He should have been given twenty years, with the possibility of parole after ten, for that crime. If he was sentenced to less than that, that was a mistake.

He has gone above and beyond in everything he does. Just another one of many things: He found a missing man whose life ended tragically and brought him home to his family. Look into him, he is fascinating.
The way he went about getting the confession, law enforcement could never legally do really. He was thinking outside of the box and was very smart and played it so well. I wish him the best.
RIP Kelli. I hope all of her loved one’s can find some peace.
I see so much pain and guilt with Michael. I wish that Michael would understand that he was young and dumb and made mistakes, as so many of us have done. Typically, most of us don’t have the sort of tragic outcome as he did. He did not do this. If he hasn’t realized yet, he can change the course of his life and do the living she can’t do. Instead of blaming himself for what only Justin is guilty of, he has the chance to live and live well.

Their lack of morality is disturbing, and they will continue their desperate tactic for sure a few days after her death. It kills me to hear Mike say that this wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t an alcoholic. No Mike, this wouldn’t have happened if Nick wasn’t an obsessive predator. This wouldn’t have happened if your wife didn’t cheat on you and accidentally end up meeting Nick (cause she probably wouldn’t have met him then).
Alcoholism is an illness- being a predator and/or a cheater are choices. Even if there is an illness that makes you either of those things, a good person would fight to stop bad things from coming from it. They didn’t.
I hope everyone involved with this- besides Nick, gets through all this okay. No one should blame themselves for the choices of others (unless… they cause someone do the S word…. Then they should blame themselves. Hard.)
And Kelly…. If you can read this from the afterlife…. Well I guess Karma really hated your @$$…. You didn’t deserve to die, nor did you ask for the attention from this guy… But ya did your man super dirty… Still, RIP- that’s not how you were supposed to be taught that lesson.

While nothing justifies what happened to this girl, she put herself in a dangerous position by playing so many guys off. She's got a husband, a boyfriend and a third 'drinking buddy' that she'd never bothered to clarify the relationship with. These are only the ones that we know about too (ie. the ones that were discovered/relevant to this case). Like I said, nothing justifies her murder but it's also not entirely surprising that someone who decided to play continuously with fire got burned. Emotions are powerful things...especially those that govern love and lust. These love triangles almost never end well, though that falls on everyone. Girls need to stop leading multiple guys on because that's basically combined fire and gunpowder. Guys need to stop chasing girls that sleep around. Nothing ever justifies murder, but a little maturity and discipline goes a long way. This isn't a case of 'no one is perfect' either. I agree with that statement, but there's a difference between not being perfect and having two different guys that you're out partying with...neither of whom is your husband. Just the same, there's a difference between the normal wanting to be with a girl and the extreme of going out and creeping/murdering her. This was at least two troubled people who met in a volatile situation.
Also, what PI would use a bar tab to determine how many drinks a girl had at Froggy Bottoms??? I've been there several times when I was a contractor at Bragg. An attractive female's bar tab at Froggy's is usually well under half of what she actually consumed.
