I’m obsessed with Nihilist Blues! How was Download? I’ve always wanted to go. But Aftershock Festival was a lot. 3 days of outhouses, I was definitely over it 😬
@@Metalheadmandi i personally didn’t go just saw RUclips videos. But the festival looks HUGE. I just love that BMTH got Amy to do it with them since it was inspired by Evanescence anyway. Amy sang it the best out of any of the collabs on that song. They just need to record it in my opinion

This song is way more chilling when you know the meaning behind it right. I knew the meaning behind it when I heard it. Amy and Oli sang this together live. Damn, can't remember the name of the show. Huge UK 1. Menopause brain🤬 but they dont sing this version,it's always with nihilist blues mixed into it. Which I personally love and hope they release it on their next gen ep. I didn't like the Courtney version. But I've already heard it by Amy so. She is a tough vocal to beat. Nihilist blues is actually with grimmes.😂😂 Bet there's so many songs you've not heard. There post Human survival horror album was INSANE. Where this song came from.

When I read the meaning behind the song, I completely understand the dynamic. I love how people can interpret music as it relates to them. I went back & listened to the live performance with Courtney & definitely like the original better. I saw Evanescence live last year & Amy was phenomenal live! And the concert with Courtney they did Nihilistic Blue also and I’m obsessed with that song. I’ve never listened to Grimes before but that song is a banger & totally gets my energy up. All the songs you listed I’ve been binge listening. House Of Wolves & Dear Diary are probably my favorite right now. I love 1x1 and had never listened to Nova Twins before. That song is so freaking good! Parasite Eve was my obsession when it came out. And it was during Covid and everything was so crazy & clung to that song. I love that Oli does so many collaborations. I feel like they have every genre completely covered in all their songs. I have been going through it mentally lately and their lyrics say so much of what I’m feeling. @@Metalheadmandi yeah the butterflies nihilist blues mix is insane. There's 1 of Amy Lee doing it at download festival this year. And is so much better. Courtney not my thing, and when she misses that high note it makes me cringe a little. Sorry Courtney. But no beating Amy Lee. Seen evanescence too last year and she was fantastic. Me and my daughter went. (Brain washed her as a kid) now she's more obsessed than me 😂😂. Was a really special day. Seeing her face and I was sure hyped too. She did the same with BMTH. I wasn't keen on them at 1st. She was over playing thats the spirit and it did my head in. But the I heard Sempiternal and I'm more obsessed with the band than she is 😂😂. Even that's the spirit. I'm mad on there is a hell album ATM. Count your blessings a bit too far for me. But I can cope. Not for too long. Old cow I am. 😂😂 Seeing them again in Jan and so excited. Grew up to Amy Lee and the haunting beauty of Evanescence...Helped shaped me into the MetalHead I am today...This song is true to form...I loved how Oli did his thing...This was my first time hearing it but it sounds like it's about past love?But I hope all is well for you...Gotta look out for #1...By the way Elder emo chicks are hot lol...Look forward to the next one...There's a new song I heard by a band called Filth songs called stay gutter...Would be cool to see your reaction
