That's pretty impressive live and at his age. Wasp is for whatever reason one of the most unknown and under rated bands of the 80's. There were some songs that were not very good, but some that were flat out awesome.
Everybody knew who wasp were in the 80's
It’s kinda wild how overshadowed Wasp was compared to the other bands of that era, especially considering how they still sound great for their age like you mentioned. Can’t say the same about Motley, Dokken etc.

I'm so glad I lived a great decade of the 1980s the music the culture the style everything and wasp was right up there to fuel my teenage needs and at 54 now he can still hear me a half a block away in my van jamming out to the classics

The younger generation don't know good music..grew up in the 80s and it's all I still listen to..
Lots of us played in cover bands. We’d find out who was having the backyard kegger, and inevitably someone’s band would be there. We all knew who our friend were, because unlike today, we saw them everyday.

Im about to turn 57 and still blasting the 80's metal. Ozzy , Mdeath , Metallica , Maiden , Testament , Nuclear Assault , King , Rush , Savotage , Grim Reaper , Ratt... I'll keep on rocking when I'm in a wheelchair. I've lived through 51/2 decades of music and the 80's music still supreme . 🤘

I don't know if I would say good I mean I've heard worse hell I lived in the South during the new metal craze so I definitely heard worse. However this just sounds like a s*** bar band covering wasp. You can give him some extra credit because it's him and he's pushing 3,000 years old but that only buys you so many extra points. If the price is free I might sit for a minute while I drink a few shots of whiskey but if I have to pay for this show it's a no go all the way I'm not even taking free tickets okay yes I would but I'm not paying 😆

I love Blackie I I have been to several of his concerts I'm sorry to say this but he does not sing he only moves his lips it is all recorded that's why it sounds so great even on this video . look so many times he forgets and moves away from microphone and still singing

15 years ago in Denver I was at his concert I even shook hand with him on the stage I was like 2 ft away from him what you hear is a studio quality voice even if he's saying over it doesn't change anything you don't hear his voice after all he has one of the most unique and strongest voice of any singer in the world
Saw these guys in NYE 1984/85 at the Tower Theater. I had never heard of them and wasn't into metal. I was 18 and working security in the front row. I was blown away. The next day I bought their tape and have been a fan ever since.

Saw the show last night at The Paramount in Huntington New York and the show was Excellent you will enjoy it.Blackie sounds great and the band was nice and loud.

Great video! Blackie Lawless is unforgettable ❤. So glad I got to meet him & hear this band live! My late husband introduced me to W.A.S.P & to metal music...we were married in 85 & he died right before our 33rd wedding anniversary.

WASP was one of the first bands I got into. My dad and I were driving to a football game and he popped the cassette tape in and I was fucking blown away.

I have been to several of his concerts and I saw this up close that he does not sing he only moves his lips it is all recorded on a track even on this video if you look you see when he moves away from microphone and still singing it clearly shows it is all recorded

Wasp was one of my first intros to metal as a kid...my older brother would come home with different cassettes of all these awesome bands playing heavier music than ever heard before each band more awesome ..God I miss those days

WASP was my very first taste of live music. I was a 19 year old kid serving in the US Army stationed in Germany. They opened up for Iron Maiden in 1986 and Blackie came out on stage wearing a Dallas Cowboys helmet and jersey. What a great first concert! Blackie still sounds great.

I'm glad I grew up in this decade, and to hear these guys back out again makes me feel like I'm eighteen again, along with all the other great metal bands that have came back out, it's hard to look up there and see one of your idols with gray hair, and a wrinkled and Worn face, but as soon as you close your eyes you step back 40 years!!!!

I've said it before and I was saying again glad you American fans finally get the a great band we in the UK have had the pleasure for many years of seem Blackie and the boys every city and every state give them a good welcome because we miss them here in the UK and Europe hopefully next year we'll get to see them until then enjoyed Uncle Sam if it a lot I will extend more dates in the US so everyone can see them
It was a killer show. Me and a buddy were supposed to see them years ago and it got cancelled. Hadn't played the states until this tour. I'd say it was about 15 years ago. We were so pumped and not let down at all!
