NMC released their overview today of Eternal Warrior. I'm livid!
I can't believe the timing lol. I've had this thing ready to go for two weeks!! Lesson learned
The colors look very much how I remember them from the books. I have the originals in my collection but I haven't dug them out in years (decades maybe?).
I really hope for a Solar Man of the Atom too and a reprint of XO Manowar! And Harbinger!!
I remember branching out into Valiant Comics. I was a fan of Bloodshot, Ninjak, and the original Turok before Akklaim took over and made him young, I believe it was them. Unless I'm mistaken Rai was Bloodshot from the future and he was apart of The Future Force with Magnus the Robot Fighter.
I found out after the fact that Rai is his own separate character. Made a false assumption because of the red circles were the same.

Thanks for the review. The XO omnibus is the white whale. It’s the only Valiant omnibus that covers Jim Shooter’s tenure at the company.
Maybe since Alien took it over it might have a chance for a reprint?

This looks like a fathful reproduction of the coloring to me. All of the Valiant books of this period had that washed out, almost faded or muted look to the colors as far as I can recall. Turok Dinosaur Hunter would be a fun omnibus; I particularly remember some good Tim Truman issues.
I wish they could collect Magnus: Robot Fighter and Dr. Solar too! And those early Harbinger issues were good, too - maybe not enough issues for any of those to get an omni but they could get OHC's!
I have been seeing this as an upcoming book forever. I didn't know much about it other than there's a lot of people ecited about it. BWS is an amazing artist, but those faces...
