Great video. My boys, 13 and 16 now, have watched a lot of your videos and competitions for years. Amazes me how many guys want a 29-30" bow, but have no clue how much better they could probably shoot a 34" bow. Keep up the videos and thank you sharing the knowledge. Good luck this next year. It is crazy how the level of shooting has risen in the last 4 to 5 years. Hope to see you in many ASA finals.
Nice bows! I'm still shooting my Bowtech Experience and bowtech SR6 bows. That brace height, reflex and the 34 axle to axle is going to be very accurate.
I am a BIG Bowtech guy. I work in a Bowtech dealership, ans shoot for the shop and a few other manufacturers. This is going to have ro stack up against my SS34. I have the Proven 34LD.
Yeah, I have the Reckoning Gen 2, bought new last year and the paint literally flaked off the grip, in big pieces. The SS34 ate servings, so did Bowtech do anything to address those potential problems with this "The Proven"?
I wish they would come out with a 75 or 80 lb in their hunting bows. The draw cycle on comfort is so smooth but the speed is a little slower than most other bows, and the draw cycle on performance is harsh. I’d much rather pull a little more weight with a smooth cycle. I hunted with the cp30 this year and it’s the most stable torque free short bow I’ve ever shot. Good luck with the rest of your season and also target next year.
Hi Paige! Thanks for the info! I have an SS34 set to 30” on the draw and I shoot comfort. How does the draw cycle feel on the Proven compared to the SS34? I wish the ss34 was a tad faster. It’s a bit stiffer up front and then smoother throughout. I wish it was just smoother throughout and then I would run it at a slightly higher draw weight to make up some speed. What can you tell me about the draw cycle of the Proven?
I shot a lot archery in the 80's, 3d almost every other weekend at matches and indoor in the off season. I used a 75 lb. bow for 3d and 60 lb lb for indoor. Now I am retired, 69 YO, I would like to get back into archery. I have shot the Core SS in 60 lb and thought it a very smooth shooting bow but after being out of archery since 89, 60 was a bit of a struggle as I know I need to rebuild my strength. A dealer suggested I go down to a 50 lb bow. Looking at the Proven 34 and the comfort setting, I am thinking this the way to go and stick with 60 lb bow. Any thoughts on my reasoning here?
Hey Page, you probably are not allowed to talk about this, but what about the serving separation issues with the SS34, did they adjust the angles or something with this (revision of the SS34) The Proven?
@@jackbuendgen389 I have had 2 SS34s. On both of them the factory cables had serving separation on the tight circle on the cam. I switched to high quality aftermarket strings and had zero issues from that point forward. The factory strings are just low quality, which sucks, but the rest of the bow is so amazing I am ok with having to put good strings on it. I don't believe the issue with the serving separation has anything to do with the cam, the mod, or the geometry of anything, it is truly just poor quality factory strings.
I've never shot a Bowtech bow. The shorter axle bow is most appealing to me because I'm in Arkansas where I hunt whitetails from the ground. Also, I shoot fifty pounds or a bit less to accommodate my 74 year old shoulders. Would this bow work for me? I like the specs but would lean toward a longer brace height. Best wishes!
Hi. I also prefer Bowtech. I have a Boss, a BT-MAG X and I recently purchased a Reconing Gen 2 39. It is currently being delivered. I noticed that the Bowtech bows have rubber rings on the string. As I understand it, they are supposed to use as nocking points. However, almost no one does this. I wanted to know why?
For target shooting my opinion you really don’t need to shoot 60/70 pound bow for target shooting I will say 48/50/55 pound bow it’s lot easier on your shoulder
My friend if you can pull that kind of weight you have great every day strength especially for a young lady 50 plus pounds is more than enough for white tales good luck hope you get the big one
@@duramaxguy74 I have an account on there yes, but I never actually post! Trying to keep up with Facebook and Instagram keeps me busy. I even slack on here really bad! But I will go on there to look at stuff 🤣
Very disappointed that they dropped the revolt xl for the proven ld … its bigger heavier and slower …., especially with the Mathew’s lift x xd same ata as the revolt xl 33 in…. Speed 358 on the revolt xl 363 lift…. And mass weight 4.5 to 4.3 lbs…… I own the revolt xl love it but I think bowtech dropped the ball most women will not be shooting an 34 in bow and most men are gona look at speeds and weight ….. idk just my thoughts I love my revolt xl but next it might become my back up bow
I shot and loved my Revolt X, but this 34 platform is one of the best Bowtech has ever released. It is less than 10fps slower, 331fps to 340fps (Revolt XL 358fps is at 33" draw), it is 4.7 to 4.5lb and an extra 1/2" long on each end. In return, you get the best holding/aiming hunting bows they have ever released. As for selling, the SS34 I have heard is on of their best selling bows in recent years, so adding a little faster cam with all the new features was the right move. If speed is preferred, they still sell the SX80 (SS34 w/80# limbs) and it goes to 31.5" draws.
Love my hoyt rx-7 but will say my wife likes her bowtech lol.Paige keep kicking butt this year i think your an awesome archer keep it up

Love Bowtech. Love your vids, thanks for all your coaching.
That's a nice Bowtech shirt😘
You pulled that 60lb bow back like a boss!!
Nice bows!

I have the SS34, which I love but I will be trying the Proven 34. Have a great holiday Paige

Hi Paige. Do you know if bowtech will launch a new target line this year? Tyvm
I can’t wait to buy a premium Bowtech. Core SS 70 pounds probably.
I’m loving my ss34

They do have an 80lb bow. It's the bowtech sx 80. It's the same bow as the ss34 just 80lb limbs and a metal limb pocket instead of plastic.
Yea, I was more talking about across the entire line, a 34 in bow is a little long to shoot out of some of the blinds we hunt out out of

I want to know too. My ss34 ate cable serving alive.

Great point about women knowing better about the draw cycle.

You need a new wide angle video camera
Is she using a filter on this video?

Hi Paige, I've been shooting bowtech since early 2000s I believe when the patriot first came out. Saw ur video from Trump rally. Are you on TRUTH yet?

@PaigePearceinsight love to see you post on TRUTH more. I found ya there and followed. I don't do Facebook or any of them others.
I like both of them equally.and im sure the bows are nice too.

A beautiful woman who can shoot bows? Very few things sexier than that
They should have named it the Athens out on out of business 34 or the lawsuit 34
With food allergies and reactions from food and glyphosates, the game eats, I have no use for game.
I don’t remember you being leftie
I loved Bowtech until the destroyed American companies like Athens
