@@technocatgmz3600 Bruh, it emulates Gameboy, Gameboy color, nes and Sega Genesis perfectly + cool SNES controller look. And just for that, in my opinion FOR 10$ it's a great value. The fact that emulation of SNES, Gameboy advance and mame isn't good, and even some mame games do run at full speed is a bonus to me. Maybe someone wants a cheap handheld for old games that he can bring anywhere and not worry about damaging or breaking it. That's just my opinion. And if you disagree present your points why it isn't worth 10$. 🤷
@@technocatgmz3600 If you prefer to use your imagination instead of simply paying 10$ for 7 emulated systems, then more power to you. Just know that you are missing out.
I like the v90, this is my go to handheld when going on holidays, unique clamshell design, very nice screen, stereo sound, a ton of emulators (+retroarch !). I recommend it ! Have bought the red, yellow and black versions.
I got the sf 2000 for $14, for the poke games the $14 is priceless. Love the analogue stick too. Is it a great system, no, is it worth every penny, absolutely.
PS1 should be seen as a bonus, just keep that in mind. I have a v90 and i like it. I recommend you put some tape under the dpad so it doesnt fall flush and a new SD card with the custom firmware. (32GB should be plenty)
I have the Gamebox, the screen used is cr*p if you slightly move your head the image is overblown. It’s a common trait in these very cheap handhelds, unfortunately
I brought the x17 yesterday for about £25 the 125 gb version comes with over 30,000 games including 704 ps1, 302 psp, 148 n64, 999 Super Nintendo and other consoles and games
I've had the Game Box for years. I found out while playing Road Fighter, if i plug a USB cable in while that game is active, the car drives itself straight forward and steers itself out of every skid somehow. It's like some super efficient and direct AI is driving the car. Maybe some short circuit going on or something. The dpad on that thing sucks, feels kind of rough to push any direction, and it all goes down at once rather than tipping down from the middle. All of the NES games on mine (not sure if all of the Game Boxes are like this) have only one sound channel, so only part of the music comes through.
Modern day 'Tiger Handhelds'...just actually playable. These make for EXCELLENT Christmas stocking stuffer gifts for little kids and those who just want very simple easier to play retro games.
The SF2000 freezes when I'm playing Gameboy Advance games and is slow at playing Super Nintendo games but it's great at playing Gameboy and Gameboy color games and Nintendo games so I give it a rating 8 out of ten!
I bought the similar version of the game box and happy with it. I modded mine to also use a 3.7V 5000mAh battery similar to a AA battery but larger. The included battery is 1020mah and gets weak fast and makes the unit glitch with dim screen after an hour or two use. The back lit screen is really bright so if there is a higher mah battery that size I would suggest getting one.
They all work out of the box just fine without swapping microsd cards, it's just usually recommended to swap them out because sometimes the stock cards are cheap and can fail. But the vast majority of retro handhelds you will find will play just fine out of the box without bringing everything over to a new microsd card :)
ok with the data frog if your games run slow just load the game back out then run it again and it will fix it not a big fix but for now its all you can do with that you can play it all everything will doing that
To anyone looking at getting the Data Frog handheld... if you get the one with the second controller? That controller does NOT support diagonals of any kind on the d-pad.
I got a game box as a gift 2 years ago from someone who got absolutely fleeced. It died on me a month later, maybe 10 uses, it is just e-waste and felt like it the first time I picked it up. I have an SF2000 on the way and will be getting a V90 when I can find a good sale

@@therunawaykid6523the person's probably going to say because they come from China and child labor and all that bs. Shoot things in America are too expensive and things from temu work well enough.
The Powkiddy being able to do PSX is pretty impressive for the price. Still, I'd go for the 35XX or Miyoo Mini+ if I was getting a low end system. The overall build quality on them seems much better than the Powkiddy from what I've seen.
Unless you’re doing some kind of deal the powkiddy sells for half the price. And the games I’d be interested in playing are the same ones I would play on the miyoo or anbernic (gba or snes). At 30-40 bucks total, the powkiddy is way more reasonable for someone that doesn’t want to make owning retro handhelds a hobby or for a kid. Once I’m paying nearly 100 bucks I start questioning whether I should get something like a retroid pocket 2s or go all out with an anbernic rg405.
At the price of the RG35xx, you can find things like the RG351p (which can run GBA, SNES and PS1 essentially perfectly and kinda N64 / DC, it also has a few ports like Celeste, AM2R, Freedom Planet and many more) or the RK2023 (which can play DC and N64 really well and many more ports like Shredder's Revenge), without even mentionning the Retroid Pocket 2S, that can run some PS2 and GC games decently for $100. If you want to not pay much, the V90 or A66 are probably the better choice, if you want to pay more, I find the RG35xx and Miyoo Mini+ to be in a weird spot, it's essentially at the same price as much more powerful devices. Sure, the build quality is good (so is the RG351P since it's the same brand, Anbernic), but not enough to justify the price difference. I've seen the RG35xx sold at around $40 on sale, at that price, it makes more sense, but not at $60 - $70 like it is at regular price.
@@MrCed122 Those are all pretty solid options, although you can get a 353VS for around the same price as a 351p, which gets you a better processor. With both of these systems being around $85, I'd say that the $55 35xx is still at a sensible price point. Especially since, as you said, it goes on sale a lot. I see it as a worthy upgrade from the powkiddy if you want the performance of that system with better overall build quality. Of course, if you just want the absolute cheapest possible way to play 8/16 bit games, powkiddy is going to be your better option.
@@MrCed122 I know it's a month late (which is an eternity in terms of emulation handhelds) - but nowadays both the Miyoo Mini Plus and the Rg35xx can easily be found at 40-55 bucks (without coupons/discounts).
