Michael and Matt are back with another randomizer, with special guest...Granny Glink! Watch Glink as she throws hundreds of rupees into the ocean, struggle to kill mobs without a sword, and dredge the ocean's bottom for anything that will aid in her journey. Granny Glink, Suicide Bomber was one of the funniest things in this playthrough.
Fun fact: the flying contest goal post is 255 yards from the platform, which means Michael would have gotten it if he had jump-slashed on that run, all he needed was 256!

I think he said he had a partial contract to keep making some stuff like Challenge Accepted, hopefully the randomizers with Michael are included in that deal

Wow, this really puts it into perspective how they didn't get a sword until roughly halfway through the playthrough. This randomizer was crazy.
And now I'm hearing that Matt was let go from Achievement Hunter, and may or may not be working a partial contract. These randomizers were some of the most inspired content the let's play channel put out in years. I really hope they can continue. I also hope working conditions can improve there and the infinite spiral into corporate insanity can end. If a few of the core Let's Play members have to desert to kill the beast, well, it's been a great ride and these compilations can attest to that.

But also, maybe Matt and Ray and Kdin and (not ryan) Jeremy can start their own company: Accomplishment Obtainers!
@@blahblah9036 Eh, wouldn't exactly put Kdin next to them. Considering how their "holier than thou" attitude is now coming back to bite them in the ass. And that how they were treated, is honestly, just karma kicking them, considering the amount of friends they've abandoned and ghosted the moment upon joining Achievement Hunter back in the day. Even though they were the reasons Kdin got the job in AH in the first place.

Hey, thanks to this video for helping me remember my thermos of soup this morning. I was getting ready to leave at 5:32 in the video ("what am I gonna put my soup in?!") and thought, "oh, right, my soup!" then went back to getting my stuff together and I promptly forgot about it again. I was one foot out the door when, at 8:34, Michael said "this is why your family left you on an island. Just making soup!" and I went back in and got my soup (and the coffee I also forgot).
Out of curiosity, I went back and checked. That wizzrobe that still haunts Michael to this day is in the Islet of Steel.

I'm sad it's over, but I'm glad for the highlight reel. This was an absolute banger of a series, and it'll be tough to top. But if any two nerds could do it... It'd be those two.

Watching this yesterday, woke up today with the news of MATT being part-time at AH. Very sad and honestly not fare at all. Why hire Ky or Joe if They were gonna do this to matt. Sorry but make one of the newby's step down to part time we like matt better!
Someone commented on Reddit that the reason could be two fold.
1) Matt has been there longer. His salary is probably higher
2) Matt is a white guy. RT and AH have been in hot water for their mistreatment of minorities. Firing a white dude looks better on optics, as shortsighted as that might be.

I disagree with Michael on the birthday thing. He says it stops mattering after 12. I say it stops at 16, then it can become a big deal at 21, and from there it doesn't matter.
I mean, we still celebrate my birthday and I'm 27, but that's because it's a good excuse for my family to get together in a part of the year where there's no big holidays.
I miss this :(

They call them checks because they are checking to see if it’s an item they need to progress.
Ya its more a general randomizer term rather then specific to this game
